My god man!
Im def doing something wrong as usual. I have 0041, plus all the novices. I am tired of quenkers, the easy 5-6k nests. I tried voritors after getting box 4 in double ls, after building a nice 3rd gen ls, and after nearly dying decided to tty quenker ravagers, after nearly dying from those, i just drove around killing stuff and experimenting. This is nuts!!! I have the def line in fencer and TK, but the hard stuff still almost gets me killed, and I run out of force bar with anything like hurton stalkers. Please... Please.... give me a word of advice!!!

remember soe do not want you to have fun in your long grind, its got to be as slow
and mind numbing as possible, so at your level, hurton stalkers and bols, if you
have tka meditation, seething bols, this is for the next 20 buffs at least.

Get 0040. you will kick your self later if you dont. YOu are so close to it. Once you get it you will be able to get channel really fast.

Crimson Phoenix Sqadron, tier 3, first mission (capture imperial officer, escort out of system, transfer codes to shuttle/gunship).
I am currently having tremendous difficulty with this mission in particular (never have with anything else before). The problem is as follows: everything goes well until I need to transfer the codes to the Gunship. As you know, before reaching the gunship TIEs appear (unfortunately, TIE Interceptors - shields). I can't kill them all, even if fighting only to disable. Usually a new wave spawns when one or two fighters die, so the number slowly builds up. It never rises above around 5-6, but in my Longprobe, 6 is hard to keep off of you. In total, I believe the longest I've lasted is seven consecutive waves of TIEs (though that might be 8) before being blown to bits. I've gotten to the rendez-vous point and, to my dismay, the rebel gunship doesn't help me fend them off (even with a retarded number ot guns to spare).
Do they ever stop? What do I do?

The secret to this type of mission is to make sure you get close enough to the mission waypoint so you spawn the ship you are delivering the codes to. Boost through the first wave or two if possible. If not hyper to a different location in the same zone. SAME ZONE. You won't fail the mission if you hyper in the same zone. Once you get to the waypoint and the ship your are supposed meet spawns you can dock. Then either IFF or emergency shields

How about this? If you really want to get rid of all but 2-3 fighters, just take on the first wave, killing or disabling any target you do armour damage on, UNTIL THE SECOND WAVE SPAWNS. When that happens, damage (but don't kill or disable) your current target's armour (a bit of engine damage doesn't hurt either, but be careful) then kill anything undamaged. You PROBABLY won't see another spawn until you're down to 1 or 2 ships, so stop when you can afford to and just run at that point. You should be able to take that much fire with droid programs ... just remember that the damaged ship is your designated "survivor" from the first wave, so don't kill it, and don't damage any other ships without killing or disabling them.
