Thread: How do you get Jedi in Beta???

I've seen screenshots of Jedi in Beta. Is it a choice to pick on the frog? If not can someone tell me how it is attainable? And does anyone know when they will make the transition from Closed Beta to Open Beta? Thanks!

Jedi options were turned off after day 1 cause noobs were dueling in front of the frogs and ruined it for evryone else.

OMG. This is ridiculous, I need somewhere to test templates, no i'm not surprised that noobs were dueling in front of the frog but honestly i'd like to test templates and such... It ISa beta afterall, its meant for testing out things for the purpose of them NOT BEING BROKEN. They're focusing on ToOW, but i'd rather focus on jedi since its more a more important fix. Do you guys think it will be turned back on at all?

BAH! Will the noobs ever learn... couldn't they just ban those dueling. Oh well there are some that test and others that just... anyway I'm sad to hear that. Doesnt help the testing in anyway.

This beta test was not made so you could test your jedi template. If you want to test new skills, then grind the xp and switch your skills. There is enough feedback on these forums to help you make decisions concerning specific skills.


I was there when the jedi option were live and I think alot of people that had never had a Jedi before were a little to anxious to try it out. Alot of them actually stated after trying jedi, they were convinced their decision to not go after jedi on live was the right one.

lol you idiot, betas arnt made to test templates its not just noobs playing with jedi its ppl that shouldnt have gotten into the beta in the first place. Betas are made to test bugs NOT to test their templates or play around with jedi. People wonder why there are so many bugs. It was because beta testers were not so complete in their tests of expasion packs. I know there is some error from the devs (by some i mean alot) but ppl need to report the bugs not duel in front of the frogs in beta.

Rofl There are NO frogs on TC. Sometimes they are on alternate TC servers, but NOT on TC

On Test Center, some times they have skill builders in the world outside starports and the like which you can use to change your template any way you want and get things like weapons and equipment from should you need it. The terms "Blue Frog" and "Frogs" are in reference to thes skill builders and item dispensers because they look like giant blue frogs. There are some of these "Blue Frogs" in the live servers as purely ornamental things in various places. Can't remember exactly where you can see them though.
