Thread: Does anyone really think a respec is the answer?

Have been seeing the R word used more and more since all the changes, nerfs and all other uncertainties to this game. Personally, I dont think a token respec would fix anything.....not much of jedi is working in all trees and all the goodies have been nerfed to pretty much token skills. My question is if you got a respec, what template would you choose?

i hope they fired the Dev who suggested respecs and burned his notes....

Anyway, I would say that they recent changes have made the ole' right-after-CU MLS/MD/Healer4400 template more attractive

The respec was necessary after they "upgraded" to the new system for those affected to the changes - the combat proffessions, many of us couldn't even move because of the encumberance of negative skillpoints.

If I had a respec over I would probably not used it.

Other than the fact that after cu, I was no where near the character I was pre-cu, the respec just meant to me that I could try new profs that I wouldn't have tried any time soon. Like all those who became bh's and such.

I was a TKM/Mater Arch pre cu. Imagine my surprise when I realized that I was no longer even a viable character and had to go out and grind again.

you needed the respec then.

Right now, if you give me a respec, if it's a 1 timer, then I prob wouldn't use it. I have like 4 million jedi xp saved up any way and haven't been getting any new xp for about a month now because I'm capped.

If it were a respec period, I'd go ahead and try different temps to see if there are other skills I'd like more than the ones I have.
