Maybe because the old one was a heap of junk, encouraging some of the worst aspects of bad sportsmanship seen in the game so far?

Personally, I'd rather wait and see a jedi master who actually earned the title, rather than lined up his buddies characters on a rooftop for the AFK slaughter.

I lost all respect for the FRS when, as a paddy, I showed up in a city wearing robes and had 6 jedi pestering me to die for them. I even heard of padawans being threatened with town bans unless they let themselves die once so the mayor could advance in rank.

One thing they should bring back if nothing else though are the knight trials. No Bonus gained from it, but just let people get the title and the robe. I've been a paddy in name since decemeber, I just never had time to do the knight trials before the CU, and I just really want the tag.
