Thread: Jedi vs. CM = 1v1= 1.0 ratio (this is balanced although my stats are bugged?)

Had my first encounter with a CM template since what ever nerf/fix the developers pushed to live and it was the hardest fight Iv'e ever had post CU.

First, the fight was evenly matched. On several occasions I had thought I was a gonner. I appeared to have little ability to afflict damage on the BH.

Second, Jedi skills are extremely over taxing!! Mind pool costs on saber attacks MUST be removed! Placing three stat pool costs on attacks is unbeliavable and is NOT balancing. This needs to be removed for ALL saber attacks! As a Jedi I can run out of Mind pool when performing basic attacks, is this normal!?!?!?!

Third, MY CHARACTER'S STATS ARE BUGGED!! Using food and spice I am NOT able to regen mind unless I sit down!?!?!!? This is regardless if I'm being attacked by a Cm or am in PvE. I had numersous stat error messages when first logging into SWG post CU and the regen rates seem to be turned off for my character. I MUST sit down inorder to regen mind, period.

Fourth, The damage output from the BH was obiously bugged! I have screen shots (at work atm) that show a miscalulation on BodyShot. The damage does not add up and it shows they are doing ALOT less then they should be.

Fifth, AttackSpeed deBuff from CM combined with ForceSpeed nerf is unbalanced. My attack speed is about 1/3 of standard rate. With force speed active and no deBuff I attack close to 1.5-2.5 with chosen method of attacks. With NO forceSpeed "and" having a CM deBuff I attack near once every 8-10 seconds!!! Is that supposed to work like that?

Sixth, for the sake of the arguement: Saber is 2.3 base spd, 654max, 100 sac, 29fc.

Seventh, "Cannot Knockdown Recovery while Knocked down"

Eight, BH was able to pull my mission multiple times AND "back to back"! He pulled my mission within 2 minutes of getting db'd and attacked me about 5minutes from him clonning due to my DB on him. This does not seem right and being that I play on Bria and had been on Lok I am fully aware of about 10 other Jedi that were at Nyms showing off with viz.

Ninth, to continue sake of arguement: Template; Lightsaber Master, Ehancer 3402, Healer 4000, Defender 0044.

Tenth, Jedi are NOT 1.5 stronger then elite professions. The BH who attacked me said I was basically his first Jedi missions (later said he actually fought two others right before me but they were killed in about 4-5 hits). This guy was a good player and I rate skill to judge character strengths. He should have won and the only reason he failed was 'cs he was not secure enough and had ran from me thinking he was going down when it was actually me who would have hit the dirt. Judging my saber build as 90% complete and his lack of additional foods as 90% from being fully prepared I would say 1v1 = 1. Jedi are NOT stronger and are most likely the underdog under normal circumstances.

Woah! I'm getting flamed by an active coro? Lol pathetic!

I think CM is fine. If you used some of your great wisdom and read the post you would see the emphasis placed on "MY FRIGG'N STATS ARE BUGGED!"

In the end I believe it's my falt I failed you. The next time I post I'll be sure to compose it for the lowest denominator to allow for your defecientcies in comprehension.

Honestly, I think CM is fine. I _think_ when you combine their debuff ability with the Nerfed ForceSpeed from enhancer is where the problem resides. Yes, the speed debuff is VERY powerfull although I refuse to ask fora nerf on it since that's NOT what's needed. We need to allow for a counter through use of availble skills although the only skill availble is nerfed to provide next to no advantage.

Improved Force Speed needs to be increased above +20.

If it helps, I had won on these back to back encounters from the same Jedi and this is why I think it's currently balanced at a 1v1 level. He lost due to his lack of confidence and pulled from the engagement when he could have had me.

I agree totally. They have been nerfing speed buffs, and haven't touched the debuffs at all. And this is balance?

He has every right to post here since he got a Doc and a Jedi toon. Moreover, even if he didnt have neither a Jedi toon nor a Doc toon he could have posted here. Nobody needs to be Novice of a profession to be able to discuss that profession. Jedi could easily discuss accuracy / defense, min / max damage, damage inflicted and their relationships with weaponsmiths trying to find out which powerups to sell to BHs on the WS forum.
Apart from that, yes, his post was not appropriate since the original poster was not complaining about losing to a BH/CM, but about losing because his toon is bugged. He kinda apologized for it in his next post, though.

Your attacks are taking mind off you? thought it was only heals that did that. you must really be bugged or you are not sure how things are working.

It sounds to me like you were attacked by a cm who used thyroid, traum, electrolyte drain etc. then pounded hell out of you making you heal more than you attack.

Check out the descriptions on the states you have put on you. The jedi i have fought have either ran out of action from attacking me and me healing the damage they do or have ran out of mind due to healing the damage i do to them.

But one debuff of the CM reduces both the action and mind regen. are you sure its not this that is landed ?

If as you say ure mind is dropping big time in PVE also then what macros do u have healing with what /pause in them ? Check everything then /bug it as often as you can.

Lightsaber attacks have action, mind and Force costs.
