I think the healing changes will help the jedi who have SAP a lot.

I wouldn't get too giddy...If SAP is too effective it will just be "balanced" again....

Don't be so sure....

it may be useful if played correctly, but our own action costs are up so much we may not have a chance to take advantage ofit.

Dont get too excited, as soon as you start using it which not many will because its in the healer lines, it will get nerfed are alot of added costs to it. The only thing I did post cu that saved me a ton of grinding is keep one template, mls, mdef, heal 4x4x and stuck to it. The one constant of soe is that when they screw things up, its in a circular motion...I found out early that sabers and then defender would be the first nerfs which means that all other skills would be adjusted to their stats. For once I was right. Now that they are finishing up (or off depends how u look at it) powers, hopefully some good things might seep through back to where they started the mass nerfings...

while action costs are going up, it also appears that action regen has been tweaked a bit (increased). Thus any specials which affect the regen rate will be very powerful. Sure, you might spend more action per special, but if you regen fast enough, it evens out. If you reduce that regen with sap, it'll be a very powerful special, especially against BH/CMs who will be very reliant on action now.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

The only good thing that I can say about the increased costs with healing is that a M. Healer will stand out a bit more fromdabble healers.

1. Force Sap. Too bad there isn't a adv form in the master box. He who has not action, has no heals, has no health gets free trip to cloner.

2. Total Heal will have a much better heal vs action cost to any other heal.

3. It also appears the FC has been lowered making it a bit more handy to use TH.

Now I just need to choose to keep 4040 def or go with 4400 Enh. Hmmm.

If healing becomes as useless as every one thinks its gonna be then I might be a very happy jedi. A jedi who saved the token respec to go master defender, master enhnacer with some LS goodness. This healing nerf is hitting every one. DPS from all combat profs will go down if they heal in a fight, cause their action is gone. And since there action is gone they cant heal either. fights will last those two minutes the devs promised.

Now my only beef is the chain snaring ranged profs can do at the moment. Either meleers need some sort of charge skill and melee ranged snare they can use to get in on their opponents or a snare/root deminshing returns system needs to hit live real fast. Otherwise ranged profs will dominate the field unquestioned. the new way snares work will lump jedi into that mix as well.

WHA WHA WHAAAT????

--- Cancelled 24th November 2006
Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.
