Thread: Can't the Dark side Crystal be a black colour?

Think that would be kool if you could get a black glow I've seen it somewhere before (not on a light saber) but in a film.

Whilst Kenobi's lightsabre crystal does look nice, I too think a poop-brown colour isn't the best choice for rewarding Elder Jedi.

If you attempt to make a Black sabre using client-side modifications, you'll see that all that happens is you get the white blade in the middle, with no glow around the outside. Sorry.

Perhaps a better choice of sabre crystal colour for dark-side Elders would be one of the really deep blood-reds, such as Maul's crystal, if I remember correctly.

Or hell, just give us the full list of the as-of-yet unreleased named crystals, and let us choose our own. Diversity is paramount in an MMORPG!

Would have expected it to have a black kinda glow


There was a film with a candle that had a black flame and it looked kool

how can black glow?

if you mean a grey glow then its the white glowing otherwise you could mean maybie a difused shadow but black cant glow.

in JK2 we had a mod with a black saber glow..


a blk hue was shroweded over a red saber because in our color combos for custom sabers we could


pick the core color


and pich the shrowd color or the hue


I had a website i created for JK2, i got all of it saved with Jpgs of the black saber glow. Ill hunt it down in my back up CD's and posta pic of how cool it CAN look.
