Thread: Jedi Be Warned BH Can Kill You And Theres NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT

Allright heres how it works .


The BH who has a ROOT can root you from 34 meters . You saber throw only goes 32 meters , your offensive force powers are only 30 meters . So the BH can kill you and you can do nothing but heal until your force power goes out . Then you are toast .


I know this works I killed 35 jedi in one day . Not low level n00bish jedi but fully templated Jedi its not a problem what so ever . I made a lot of money .


So there needs to be a fix somewhere either the force powers and saber throws need extended in range or ROOT needs to break upon being struck .


Play both my BHs and my Jedis ( and yes I have plural of both ) . I posted this on the BH forums as well so be warned be ready and be alert .

You cannot keep the root on 100% of the time and none of those jedi got 2 steps towards you and did saber throw?


Guess your servers jedi's are not that experienced or you are attacking low level paddies.

Uhmm... are you serious? I always root from 64m, which is quite a good distance, but I know that the root will break soon and that I better have a snare or something on him, or else I'll be eating saber...


Roots break, man. I don't think you can dish out enough damage to kill someone during that root time... and even if you could, they just heal, and are either coming after you or running away.

Got to agree here. I just Force Infuse the BH, saber throw and go to town. I think that you got some in-experienced Jedi that did not know how to use their skills. I defeated 2 BH's that were using continious Root. (Or trying) Just have to infuse one of them and concentrate on them.

every Jedi should have a pup'd laser rifle in his inventory at all times just to be on the safeside.



SOE's philosophy in a nutshell is this. If someone or a group of people are special, and different from others, then by all means strip the special people of the things that made them special in the first place. Do this so that the not- so- special people dont feel bad about themselves. By all means DO NOT encourage the not- so -special people to strive to themselves become special. Its not like we all didnt start with 250 credits a cdef and a melon.

then that is either a seriously fecked balance issue or an exploit.. either of which will be fixed eventually

Qui - Lucy can show you how this is done. They had me rooted for 34 minutes. Could not kill me, but I could do nothing to them either. In the end I just stopped healing, died, and carried on with my gaming.


You can be kept rooted 100% of the time. Just not sure 1 person alone could do it.
