Since I am looking forward to ToOW, I like to collect new loot items, hey it's something to do. I was curious as to whether AI will protect a Jedi during a mad dash across lava while being chased by a BH. I'd only do it in an emergency and haven't actually seen one, a BH,in months. Any Testing results?

No mad dash with AI... you are snared so slow you can watch paint dry faster.

I think once you hit AI the lava will lose agro on you as the BH will, its the new cloak I hear. You hit AI and you vanish, the BH loses agro and you vanish off radar. (sorry had to be cute lol)

in the devs post about a question from a bh...the bh asked if jedi will be trackable on mustafa...the answer was cleverly replied to as....and i quote...jedi will be tracked to mustafa..and that was the total response....well, we can be tracked to kash, but we cant be hunted on kash....would love to see the devs give a straight answer on this topic.... but they wont if they cant track jedi. the outcry would be tremendous from their chosen ones.

I think they partially made it so you cant track Jedi on Kash was A) they could not get it to work with instances and B) they wanted people with Jedi to be able to enjoy the content there.
I would hope they would do the same for ToOW since it is more Jedi oriented. But with all these nerfs happening, we can only be so lucky.

I believe... the reason the tracking droids don't work on Kashyyyk was a logistic reason. Picture the method by which a seeker droid tracks life. Heat sensor, movement. A droid would do well in the geometric outlines of a city, using it's imperfect optical sensor to translate the data involved based on what it was programed with, and the logic of what it knows of it's target, (likely patterns of movement, places the bering was seen).
On Kashyyyk you have none of that... It's a jungle. Not many cantinas to check. WAY too many lifeforms in the jungle to scan for movement and heat especially in the dense foliage what would likely confuse a droid not specifically programed with the knowledge of the flora and fauna of the place which from what i understand was unknown to most.
I would think Mustafar would not have that problem, as the lifeforms are less dense there, and there is of course not above ground foliage that i am aware of. It's not a terribly hospitable place, I doubt it's the kind of place where Jedi would hide out and make a life for themselves in seclusion...
Makes Tatooine look like a tropical resort by comparison.
Anyway... I believe the House of Commons Chat mentioned droid tracking on Mustafar.

ok, but the fault in your logic is that you used logic at all...

That, and planets like Yavin 4, Endor, and Dathomir would fall under the same catagories with "logic".

how about the devs dont know how to program the droids when the planet uses instances....thats a more accurate answer.

Also highlighted in red and using your logic - wouldn't a lava planet sort of wreck a droid's tracking abilities if it used heat to find its target?! ![]()
