jedi are constrained by a force bar. well not entirely but it sometimes seems this way. if you are going to add mind/action costs to every skill we have why not just take away the force bar? what good is it except to limit us in 1 way that no other profs are limited?

The problem can be mostly solved by nixing Force Cost on Sabers. I mean, come on. SWG is the only SW game I've ever played where it requires the Force to swing a Saber around. Force should only be consumed where Force is used. Force Cost on Saber Throw is fine since it requires the Force to throw your Saber and retract it again, but to swing it from side to side is just retarded.

would it take force to block though? because you use the force to know where the shot is going to be, not just swing wildly and hope for the best.

The difference between a full-temp jedi and a melee stacker is the armor with 75% AB slice, the weapon with double the damage and the heal with half the mind cost and double the damage healed... Oh and yeah the force bar too... not to mention action cost

Of course it would, I didn't feel like making a run down list of everything that would consume Force. I assume most people would know blocking uses the Force.
