one thing mentioned in other posts that most forget. we only have speculation at this point...but...if the frs or anything close to it resurfaces, there will be knight, guardian, sentinal, even master class jedi. a lot of people tend to treat or view a full temp padawan as the end game. perhaps with the current mechanics and limitations this is true. however, in my opinion the padawans should have some struggle involved with their fight. maybe i'm an optimist, but i'm hoping that the dwindling power we've seen over the last several months is a slow preparation for things to come. if a full temp padawan was made all powerful right now...what in the world would knight or even master be if it was opened up? just some thoughts.

the elite class bh idea is good. others have mentioned a Mandalorian class, etc. There's tons of really great ideas floating around, including a glimpse of smuggler activity in the concept boards. Hopefully once this November Episode III cash cow has stopped grazing, they'll put some time and effort into the foundation of the game

The concept sounds good. reward the people who put the effort in, to get a little something extra out. For BH ( yep I was one, for 2 years on infinity server, and went Jedi just 4 days ago) maybe after the "investigation tree" grind to master bh, is done, how about being able to spend BH xp on some extra abiliities. how do BH get BH XP, well by hunting marks, bot NPC and Jedi, and by overiding uplink terminals in faction bases. once a BH reached investigaton 4, BH xp does *nothing*. sure you can convert it in to FS xp , but that's only useful if the BH either wants to augment his/her abilities with FS skills, and eventually turn Jedi ( which is where I ended up). An alternative ? unlock some other skill tree maybe, and get somethng a little different and special.

Pro's :- bit more content, somethihg to work towards, an alternative to FS grind, perhaps that "feared and legenday" staus ?

Con's :- Well, I guess there would be a mad scramble for *every* half serious BH as well as the uber l33t pwnage crew, hunting like there's no tomorrow. that puts Us, my friends in the firing line ( bad thing or not, well there's plenty opf posts already about the whole hunted thing and visibility.)

BUT, it would add a little bit more to the game,,,again, good or bad,, who knows.

Now, as I said, despite hunting Jedi for 2 years, I know relatively little about them,,, err,,US, I mean ! I have heard of, and read *some* about the FRS, but dont really knowmuch about it, how it worked, why it was taken away. But it seems to me that the concept is sound. all itneeds is new direction, tweaking, rethinking ?

Dak vs Light Jedi, and the Council. for hose who like PVP, that sounded good to me. Jedi v Jedi, winner gains rank andeventually raises above knight status, and gets a place on some grand council, concept wise, sounded fun to me. again, you get out what you put in.

Jedi V BH ? yeah lets even that up ? Jedi lose all that hard earned XP, Bh lose nothing. so, I dunno, Make he BH xp *count* towards something for them to acheive, and if they fail their mission ( npc or PC ! ) they LOSE bh xp.

ok I'm a little ignorant of all the history and game mechanics, but hell this is just a wild suggestion. There HAs to be an answer, a compromise,middle ground out there somewhere. BH, and Jedi, I welcome all constructive posts and ideas. I know its been done to death, but it seems that the same questions get asked, and none are answered.

They say, " keep your friends close, and your enemies closer".....so BH's come in, sit down, have a cup of tea,,,,,,somewhere in the middle, between these 2 great professions, there's a lot of fun to be had, and some good ideas to progress the game, to put forward to the devs ?

But, what if they did make jedi a bit more powerful, bh a little less powerfull (so its more like the movies) BUT, let the BH's have their own enclave and ranking system, and allow certain successful bh's become a little more powerful just like the feared Jango and Boba Fett bh's. Granting them possibly a few more skill points or whatever so that certain bh's are feared the same as a more powerful jedi so that certain players will definitely be legendary in the game This will allow everybody to work towards a common goal and bring a little balance back to the game.
