I wish I had news. At this time there is nothing more recent that what we already know. Sorry.

Eyes and ears are only useful when there's something to see or hear...

The blanket silence policy continues. Remember SonG was in this situation curing the CURB implementation, and even when he was allowedd to say something it turned out to be a load of rubbish, e.g. remember the infamous "Powers will be a viable alternative to LS...".

I can't quite put my finger on it, but I think there's something going on.

Urban Dictionary definition of SMED:

"to interfere with one's gaming enjoyment: To drastically alter an item which is enjoyed by thousands."

TO pull a smed. Jeez, those dev's pulled a smed on swg big time

This reminds me of EXACTLY why SonGouki quit. People out for his blood and the blood of his first born, the Devs being as quiet as the grave and the Correspondent left holding the bag. Crap rolls downhill and if the Devs are as communication constipated as they are now....well, nuff said.

The only purpose of a correspondent is to divert the attention from the DEV's to them. Unfortunately everyone blames the corrospondent, but even he gets information sparingly. It would be nice if everyone would just jump off the corros back. If there is something to be said and addressed he has been here to say it!

Bac, in all honesty, have you ever wondered just what purpose your position really serves? The devs certainly dont give you fair shake, and since you have no information from them for us.....seriously...whats the point? Jedi fluff person? If I were you, I would be about sick to damned death of being used and abused by an uncaring dev team, and being bombarded by angry players which THEY created. I mean seriously, what is it going to take to get them to listen, respond, and act on what the community wants? Is it really going to come down to people having to physically go there?

Its quit obvious the dev team has something bigger in mind than what they are letting on, if its something positive, they need to share it to give us something to look forward to. If its something negative, they need to be upfront, and honest about it, and give us solid reasons why its a necessary change for the game. I guarantee you 100% that if this type of communication occured, the attitude int hese forums would change overnight. Yes, there would still be whiners in each forum, because no way will you ever please everyone, just aint gonna happen. But if they could please a good 80% or even 70% of the playerbase that reads this forum......wouldnt that be something to strive for?
