i've been searching about and can't see any definitive numbers? has anyone tried - or have 5 min to test right now how much difference there is in shots hit or missed when comparing usingauraor not using it? ideally pvp would be best you can control the fight and you know the oppositions accuracy.

in my limited testing, it seems that aura causes between 30-40% of shots to miss. . .
This is the case for both me running basic aura (~30%) and for my mdef friends (~40%)

No aura's main function is to avoid hits, and it also adds a slight decrease in damage taken due to accuracy of opponent being lower then your melee/defenses

Its the reduction in hits that interests me. Vs jedi +500 mel def in pure def vs accuracy terms - it doesn't really help reduce damage a great deal. but, as all i intend to do when i finally complete my grind is PVP(where most pvpers i find are other jedi) perhaps only basic would be nessesary (especially if it gives a +30% increase in missed hits!) question is, if imp aura makes hits miss 40% of the time, with 25% block and valor shouldn't you only get hit 10% of the time by ranged guys?
