Thread: The Reason Jedi Can't Test on Mustafar?

So apparently the first people into the beta, regardless of what toons they have in Live, can choose Jedi.
These people, probably many of whom have never played a Jedi, not to mention some that have posted in the Beta Forums who claim to hate Jedi (go figure), then spend all their time dueling and generally causing problems. So then in their infinite (or is it infantile?) wisdom, the Devs remove the Jedi profession from the choices.
I suppose in the end it doesn't matter anyway--after all, they're going to keep nerfing Jedi publish after publish as well as dumbing down the game until it's the equivalent of the smurfs. Yep, we're being smurf nerfed.
There's a reason why many hate the Jedi. the main reason is that they don't want to put in the work to get it themselves. The secondary reason is that some Jedi have given the rest of the jedi an extremely bad reputation.
Rerolled and no more Jedi for me.
Aside from everything that has been going on lately, they wanted people to BETA-TEST THE EXPANSION, not test out Jedi templates, duel in front of frogs, etc. The players are our own worst enemy half the time.
Its rather annoying not having access to ones' primary template but I just created my jedi toon but put my alt's template over her. lol

Is this not what most of the Jedi do on live? Everyone is blaming the non live server jedi that got jedi in beta but what i saw and heared alot of the duelers in beta where jedi from live servers testing templates.
it is the dueling in front of the frogs that ruined it,but people are so dumb they continued to do it anyways,so what do the devs do?..they switch off jedi options on the frogs,which is a shame cause i hate playing normal toons,id really have liked to go to a frog,grab my template from live and go do some testing,but im stuck trying different templates that feel comfortable to me,players ARE their own worst enemies,no doubt about it

The point is, most of the people who have Jedi on TC2 are not even Jedi in Live. I've seen them posting in the Beta and overhearing them in the betaand saying they don't have a Jedi, and that they hate Jedi, and that they hope Jedi gets nerfed further. Great--so many of those with Jedi toons are making erroneous reports just to screw Jedi over even more. Nice community here in SWG--at what point did this cease being a game and start to be a cesspool of hatred?
For those who don't understand why that's a problem, it's because Jedi is having changes made directly to it in ToOW. But how many of us get to test and experience those changes beforehand? Virtually none--just like with the CU.
How would you like it if, say, you're a pikeman and your profession is having changes made to it, but instead of getting to check those out, you aren't allowed to build a pikeman toon, instead, you have to build a WS and then try to extrapolate.

Yes, the purpose of the Deta test, at this point, is to test out the quests and CONTENT of the expansion, not to test professions. Having jedi in there at all isn't inportant. I just wish that they would do the testing process in a more organized fashion...like be more selective in who you choose, then clone their live toons to TC2
They should have just given any current jedi that gotaccepteda code that they could enter on the blue frogso they could use a jedi on beta. That way people that didn't have a jedi couldn't activate one in beta.

Agreed but idiots who are too lazy to get glowy are now running around with Dark Jedi Knight and Jedi Knight titles because they are palying a system they are not suppose to play. They run around overt (obviously knight trials were never turned off) Asking everyone for duels. Yay for those people ruining it for everyone.
