Thread: Well I have to say Im disappointed..

When SOE announced the release of trials of obi wan , i was a little excited , thought that maybe this would bring the people who left after CU back to the game , or atleast get the people who do have accounts playing more.
The trailer looked good and SOE bragged up how exciting this new adventure would be . So I really was looking forward to it .
Now since people have been beta testing it , I have heard only negative things about it and how none of it really pertains to jedi , even the new robes ( cloaks) are pretty useless.
The one positive thing Ive heard was the planet looks awesome. Well i do like graphics but graphics alone doesnt make for a fun game.
I was gonna preorder even though i thought 30.00 was kinda steep considering all that we have endured through changing and taking away nearly everything in the game that we once enjoyed.
Now i have decided i will take my 30.00 and buy a diff game to get me by for a while until a new MORPG comes out. I will stay completley away from all sony games though becaus ei have heard they do the same to all their games ...ruin them over time....
Any way i will not renew my account , Im letting it expire at end of month and i wish the best of luck to SWG , maybe one day when all this is sorted out ( if ever ) I will return and give it another shot.
2 years I have been with this game and it feels it has never made it from beta . All it has ever consisted of is server stability issues , exploit issues, and balancing issues . I have seen the majority of bugs brought in by the developers themselves with other so called fix patches . I have no clue what it takes to sell a MoRPG im just a gamer , but i do know that This development team doesnt know what sells a MORPG either. Thank for the very few good times, and who knows maybe ill be back one day .. peace

Ur totally right about the dev/idea's team, i wouldent reccomend them to my worst enemy.
I know many are in the same boat as you, and im supriced SOE is actually diggin themselves down the way they do, they are just killing themselves. Cause they are getting a really bad reputation. I sure as **** never gona reccomend a SOE game to anyone the way they acting. Actually im already doing the other way around and keep warning ppl about going to a SOE game cause of the way they run things.
