Their can be no doubt,
When the dev team posts that each publish they look at what clases become popular and nerf them we are looking to endless nerfs for ever and ever as they the dev team change the game mechanics over and over.
When 2 years after the game is released its still going through major changes and game altering nerfs.
When their is no pvp reward system in place but the players are forced into pvp at any time anywhere but setting inside their house.
When the community is in such an uproar that it scares new players intio quitting from reading the boards.
When the servers are making it hard to get in good groups.
When we have a dev chat and dev uses a handle called blizzard you know we are in trouble.

Tiggs : '' I will send an email about this after I am done posting. I can totally relate to the grinding and lives outside of the game. Imagine working on the game and then playing it when you get home? It doesn't feel like you have left work really. Anyway, there will always be balance passes done and yes as much as it kills us when it makes one profession a "Flavor of the Month" so to speak, we don't know until we see it played out on Live servers (sorry TC folks). Then the balancing is done again and the viscious circle continues. ''
This is whatTiggs wrote in this thread :

Basically, you mean that, you need to push the publish live to see if the changes you have made will create a FOTM or not. First of all, this isa big slap on TC players. Honestly, I don't even understand why people are playing on your test centers, and I respect them more than anyone else. But what you have written is unacceptable.
This is the game you have created. I am a veteran player and as soon as you give me publish notes, just after READING them, I know what's gonna be FOTM. As soon as you have released Publish 9 documents, I knew that Master Enhancer with ForceRun3 would be FOTM.
With CU, as soon as I read what cloak would do, I knew that everyone would have cloak in their templates till it's nerfed.
As soon as you released the Squad Leader documents, I knew that half of the player population would go SL because everyone wants to kill things / their targets as soon as possible.
What you're saying is; in the whole SOE, there is NOONE that could guess this, and you have to push the publish, see what becomes FOTM from1 month to 3 months, then make your nerfs.
This business model is unacceptable. You need to hire players to predict you the effects of your changes. It could be done by listening to your player base, but for some reason, you don't do that.

The answers you have given aboveare the following :
FRS No eta for this at this time. Pearls/Lightsaber: Pearls are currently being worked on and I have no information on them yet.
Powers/Healer: All classes are constantly monitored for balance. I do not know what is up next but I can check on these.
Discipline There was a document being worked on and I will have to see how far along it is. Priorities shifted to ToW so this document may be incomplete.
I could have given the same answers by not even knowing anyone from SOE. Political answers are the same everywhere :
'' Working on it. '' '' No ETA at this time '' '' As soon as possible '' '' I know my colleagues were working on that issue, need to double check'' '' Priorities have changed '''' We want this solved more than you ''
State of the game :
GCW : Dead due to the ability to spam bases, and GCW having no meaning.
FRS : My Enforcer Robe is just occupying space in my inventory. You could have understood how important that Black Robe is for ALL OF US just by checking how many pre-CU Knights still haven't deleted their robes despite their usefulness.
PVP : The guy I killed 5 seconds ago can come back and fight me with an empty stomach. Mor ebugs and exploits than I can count.
LOOT : There's no loot. Thank you for increasing AI on mobs, but let me ask you one question : Why would I even fight a NS Stalker in the first place ?
DUNGEONS : DWB & Geonosian Cave : Hello Devs. There used to be a place called Geo Caves. There was a spider in there whichdropped nice poison components and there was a mob called Acklay which dropped Acklay bones. And mobs there dropped sword cores, cubes and geo pistols. ALL are useless now and that place is empty. How about changing the loot there so at least a few people go there ?
I quit the game 3 months ago, but was hoping for some changes in the meantime. Now I lost my all hope, and I am quitting the forums, too. SOE did an awesome job forcing me play a cartoonish game like wow despite my love for Star Wars and my Jedi.
Tiggs, ALL SOE's problems can be solved by hiring 20 Intelligent people who play this game and can give you ideas and feedbacks BEFORE you push something to Test Center and Live. They can interact with the community in forums, and together make a perfect game. I can't believe how you can not see a simple thing likethis.

They might as well close TC down, it's apparently useless.

This explains why the CU was such a massive debacle. It was an absolute travesty it got pushed to live after such a short testing time as bugged and unbalanced as it was. They are still fixing bugs from the it.

The whole game in general. Every game has their bugs, but this is a bit overboard...
And his points werent that false
although i think its all hopeless anyway.. they will never listen

ok. first off, tiggs is a csr rep who gets info from the devs and relates it back to us.
secondly, they can only see if a template becomes fotm, because there are hardly any players on testcenter for them to make a judgement. if more people actually logged on testcenter and played different professions, then everything would start to become balanced. however, most people are too stubborn to log onto testcenter, and therefore have no right to complain about balance issues. (and yes, i have 2 testcenter characters)
You missed the whole point. And obviosuly you haven't read my post. When I READ the documents, I knew Master Enhancer would be FOTM. I didn't play, only read. Why ?
