DO NOT KNOCKDOWN ON YOUR FIRST ATTACK. Man i'm sorry but i hate noobs that do that...honestly what is the point? you knock them down slap on an armor break...so you already just wasted your knockdown damage increase by using armor break, and then you get them low on health and try to knock them down to finish them off and guess what? YOU CAN"T BECAUSE YOU ALREADY DID.

Heres my advice to all you noobs

1.)ARMOR BREAK

2.) Power Attack (Although reports say it misses 75% of the time so if this is the case I woudln't bother)

3.) Head hit +Leg Hit until you get them down to about 40% health

4.)KNOCKDOWN This prevents them from using anything other than a stim and if you are able to put out enough damage you can easily get the kill. Sometimes you can surprise them this way and they won't know what hit them. Others will hit knockdown recovery before there stim and blamo its an easy kill.

Ive learned to manage with my 430 DPS saber at MLS...but even the best tactics and the best of luck will do no good post Pub 24

That is a helpful reply - next time I fight a BH, I am going to definately attempt that strategy.

Thanks.

Head Hit, Leg Hit, and Body Hit are your best friends...I use all three. I prefer to use Advanced Saber Throw for the KD, as it does more damage than Sweep. Power Hit...IF it hits...is great after an Armor Break, but don't count on this attack landing...it's not very accurate at all. Don't be afraid to try Dervish either...if a Dervish hits for full strength, it can actually be pretty nasty. The best "tactic" though...is to stay on top of the BH and drag them into CQB as often as you can...range is their advantage, so take it away from them.

Could you put those all togetehr in a macro like
/headhit;
/legthit;
/boadyhit

would that work to save buttons?

Sure you could, I however refuse to use macros and scripts, but by all means go for it

by far the best tatic for mls is to deal damage as fast as possible. The strategy i use is toab, saber throw, power attack, stim (nice 1200 heal and doesnt count as a combat move like force heal does), then i alter body hit and head hit...

My opinion...don't use macros at all...lol

That's the best way if you ask me.

If you're asking how to write the macro...I'm the wrong guy to ask, perhaps someone else can help you.

i have tried macros and the only one i use is /forceheal self the rest were just too much hassle even if they did let my bypass cooldown timers

Pick ur moments never wade in . Soke it up and watch thier action and mind bar do not assume to damage them imeadiatly.

First off have a root or snare handy or sap. Let them attack, it drains thier action , watch that bar closely. Use sap when they are low on action if u have it. If not wait . As a MLS dont use saber throw as ur default like a 0404 ect would , you dont want to waste that kd, that is ur winning strike. Keep applying the root to them , make them feel nervouse. Once the root is on use a combo of head hit and leg hit until u see the root start to wear off. Just as the root is finishing hit the KD.

Try and time it when their action is low as well because they wont be able to get up if the action is low enough and pound them . if this dosnt work this time arround wait for you next opotunity . Remeber to leave the KD for a good minute before you try again. Root and sap get that action bar down and try again. Use the terrain to ur advantage, if they are low on mind they will run to try and regen. If they do chase them down use advaced saber throw if they run , they are panicing.

Remember dont try too hard for the fast kill unless you are confident you can dish out enough damage . If its a MCM use rancor aid and remove that electrolite drain. Run to water get rid of the fire useing root to buy yourself the time you need. If your snared dont panic look arround you find something to block ther line of sight. If they come to get you root or sap and hit them and time that KD.

MCM arnt that hard with the action costs and itll cripple an unskilled user , they will find themselves on their back struggleing to get up while you hit them with everything you can throw at them.

IF your low on force root them if you can and leg it . Get on your bike and find somewhere to regen. Wait for them in a setting that suits you like lots of hills or in a town .

Practice makes perfect and your skill will come . Dont get nervous and panic that is your biggest enemy use your skills wisly and you wont fail.

Hope that helps.
