OK to quit people arguing over whether jedi should be perma overt or engage in "forced" pvp or not is becoming a huge issue on these forums so I, with the help of a few others have come up with this idea.

When you finally become a padawan you are given an option: Be a PVP enabed or PVE only enabled jedi.

IF you were a PVP jedi things would remain for you as are - BH, pvp, etc etc

IF you chose to be a PVE jedi, you would not be attackable by other professions HOWEVER

- you would not be able to participate in ANY galactic civil war activities (including even joining the factions) becuase picking a side in a war means you want to pvp

- you would not be able to enter the FRS, with the highest rank you could achieve being knight after you complete your trials.

- If you decided you did want to pvp or notyou would have to restart somewhere...Either re-do the trials as a pvp enabled or disabled jedi or even start from scratch as pvp enabled or disabled.

- IF you were pve enabled only you would still expose yourself to NPC bounty hunter attacks, NPC stormtrooper scans, and possibly NPC jedi attacks (to keep pve jedi from showing off in towns etc.

This is just a basis for an idea

This is a discussion thread so any ideas on possible improvements we could make to this idea please add them. If we get enough community support we can fine tune it and give it to Bac to submit to the devs for possible approval.
