Agreed, I'm a Jedi and a SL...with a constantly ignored Smuggler too. Do not ask for SL's to be nerfed, this is the first upgrade that has ever been done to the profession. The problem isn't that the Devs are giving love to other profs, the problem is the constant nerfing of Jedi abilities. The more everyone cries nerf, the more all profs will be nerfed including us. Jedi need to be upgraded. The FOTM SL/BH will pass when the Ranger revamp hits live. Just wait it out, and ask for Jedi to be improved. The last thing this game needs is the continuance of years worth of constant nerfs.

exactly...

we can get some better saber block and bring back thesaber block animation. That would be really cool... It will really solve the snare changes AND the new one hit incaps... they can still happen... but will be far MORE balanced with us.

again you are asking for nerfs.... don't nerf... boost us up.

I would be happy if they just went back to the state pre-pub 24 now since it was more balanced than post-pub 24 by far.

Even if Jedi were able to block 85%/95% of these types of shots... that one time it gets through is all it needs. A 1-shot kill is still a 1-shot kill, and completely against the design docs for the CU AND PvP Damage Reduction requirements. They are not to exist.. period. NOBODY should be able to 1-shot ANYBODY, reguardless of how high their ability is to block it.

You specifically reference Saber Block in your improvement request... what about everyone else? Will being 1-shot killed in PvP be acceptable to Joe TKM? How about Billy-Bob Pistoleer?

I'm not one for nerf calls, but I am a stickler for balance. I LOVE the fact that the SL is now playable. I had so much fun playing one (reguardless of how worthless they were) many moons ago, and to see them once more viable in combat and actually worth having around is wonderful. But overpowered is overpowered.

No way in hell am I going to let them go back to 85% saber block. It was the most stupid idea ever put in game. All it means is that you have to deal with melee professions instead of ranged. Also I don't know if you were around when we had 85 block but it was annoying as hell having MLS a requirement, and the way you want it valor would be required also. I know a few people with no lightsaber in their temps, how are they suppose to deal with it? People with 0400 sabers or 0401 sabers are they suppose to be killed in one shot? I hated having 85% block because you almost never fought a melee player and if he was ranged he was a MCM with 1k mind ticks. It was good to have but now with all these templates not having MLS it is just plain stupid to ruin so many jedi templates people are enjoying.

Also the devs would define this as a "Reward" meaning they will have to give you risk again. Sowhat do you suggest adding names back to the terminals? I can see it now a swordsman, a pikeman, a CM and a pistoleer snaring and killing a jedi. No thanks, 85% block ruied the game for ranged professions. Also with that 85% block you would still get hit, meaning you would still get one shot incapped. Here's an idea if you have a BH tef you lose your SL buff. Simple, easy, and does not ruin anyones gameplay.

I feel that SL is finally where it needs to be atm. I hope they dont nerf anymore professions and just build them up. Hopefully with the FRS we get more saber block with each rank. A master should have 85%, a guardian 70%, and a knight 60%.
