Thread: Just a thought from me
My name is Epaos of Naritus...to the Jedi of SWG, here i go
The game is messed up bad. I have remained as positive throughout all the changes, nerfs, skillset changes and have tried my best to adapt...thinking, these people have to see these are part of the problem..not part of any solution.
Since day one of SWG i began my journey. Started the story of Epaos, Master weaponsmith of TwinForce weapons. (before thier ever was a Twinforce crystal) Then on to Master Bounty Hunter. I struggled through the changes of a truely broken profession for over a year. I finnaly gave up..unlocked my jedi. Was excited to obtain my rank of a Knight and beyond to a dark enforcer rank 3..2 kills from Rank 4.
Combat Upgrade hits. Destroying the content we once had. Speaking of balance and better gameplay, better gaming experience. Then come the nerfs. Starting with our professions. Then out components ( Pearls) You left us with few options for components. We sought them out. Nightsisters, Dark Jedi Jnight, Dark Jedi Masters. You seen us still obtaining our rightfull power to become better, faster..with no FRS this was our content. You again destroy our hopes of abtaining a future. No insight of a future, we continue on to strive for something we could do. The PVE jedi, The PVP jedi, the roleplay jedi.
You then release untested content verses a live template.Your aware of the problems you create by testing it on TC, the people inform you...you dont listen and release it anyways. Compounding the problem further. Burrowing it deeper. You again become part of the problem and not part of the solution. You promised us after ROTW there would be bug fixes. All you accomplish by your contiunued act of complete ignorance is compounding more problems with this once hopefull game. You have taken its very essence and destroyed the hopes of every single player that struggled to use the force.
We, all of us..in all our time through various changes.....have fought harder to be what we are, The Jedi, the Dark jedi. We grinded for months. Some of weeks depending on the time you unlocked. I myself took the solo road. For months. 2 times mind you...dont ask why. We are now weak, pissed off at the changes you continue TO NOT ANNOUNCE to us, and what you do announce does nothing more than feed the fire of /Cancelation of our dreams.
Yes it is a game, BUT WE PAY FOR IT DAMN IT! With real money we spend to enjoy ourselves. Yet you continue to give us hemmoroids..hemorages of frustration that the time we spent here was worth 15$ a month. You have again released content to SWG,
The Trials of Obi-won. And i am again here asking myself, will they finnaly now take time to fix the broken aspects of this game?
Our heals still do not work correctly. We still often heal others instead of ourselves.Or get a message trying to healself.."you are not permitted to heal that taget" Or heals come in after incap along with damage. We realy cant even test anything because somehow you managed to break the damn combat logs to a point they now make it appear as if we dont execute anything when our actions on the screen clearly show we do!.
You announce a corospondant to help the profession but give him no power what-so ever..and do nothing but leave him as a pawn to be screamed at by the community. They inform you of the problems and you continue to ignore thier insight.
You give us no answers what so ever as to how things are progressing with YOUR PAYCHECK. Our Game..not yours. You think you gonna have a job when half the dang community cancells thier subscriptions? Some come back, but even now i see my freinds list cut in half. Maybe 10% of those who left truely come back. People are again leaving devs...time to step up and heed the call to arms. many arms and fix what is broken. If you dont have answers..then i suggest you get going on getting them.
All jedi professions are a complete mess! Aura doesnt work correctly now. AI has no use of escape, tank and is nothing more than a death sentence. The Master line of defender has no value to mention worth completing.
Force powers is unmanagable. Its accuracy is completely random.The damage output is a joke vrs the force-mind-action costs.
Enhancer has become worthless with your current root/snare from BH. FR3 is worthless
Master healer has no viable use what so ever beyond the 4240 healer line. Healing is bugged beyond reconition.
Master lightsaber. Accuracy is off now. Speed is miscalculated. millions in CA mods worthless to the profession. No master Lightsaber single attacks worth grinding for. Subcomponents removed.
The list can go on and on and on as it has in these forums AND YOU STILL DONT GET IT.
Im now going to do as Garva posted and step away from the computer. Like he gives a **edit**ing **edit** anyways, so up yours Garva. You shouldnt even have a job as far as im concerned.
Why dont you hire same accual players of the game that play OUTSIDE the sandbox. In the real arena..try and fix something before you contue to bury it so far..i have no confidence you cand even find the problem to fix it. Or is that allready what has happened.
I will now prepare to be banned for stating my feelings but i dont care if you ban me. I pay for this game, im pissed off as a customer. I too deal in customer relations..everyday. If i treated them as you have treated us..well lets just say see ya at the unemployment line.

He like all of us wantthe game to succed....
that is why we play it..
I think that a letter from the devs.. to the gamers would be a great start... let keep the general public in touch with what is going on... WOW does a great job of doing this.. and you guys can do a good job as well... no time like the present to start.

Yes i know Garva is not a Dev..but i read some of his posts,For the most part ive never ever made a bad post concerning him, but after readingthe most negative post he ever wrote as far as im concerned.. has over 1400 replies to it, In outrage and anger. And i used him to make a statement that im not afraid, or willing to subit to his ill-placed statement of fear to the public that we should hold back how we feel.

right on epaos...its funny, i use to play this game daily, 3-6 hours a day...im not sure if ive been online a that total amount since the CU...SOE took the best game on the market and managed to turn it into the biggest pile out there. Imagine if xbox or playstation games were released with the poor coding and suck@$$ customer service that comes along with SWG. Every single game would be returned. The truth is, SOE does it because they can and they know they can take advantage of us. They know we will continue to play and pay because of our love for star wars and the hope that they will get their thumbs out of each others @$$3$ and turn this piece around. Anyways, just my two creds, see yain a few days epaos, lol
