I have a Master Swordsman / Master Combat Medic toon that will soon be Jedi Initiate... and I'm wondering whether I should start emptying out my Swordsman or Combat Medic skills as I accumulate Jedi ones. Any advice? It seems obvious that the CM skills will still work, but do the2H specials like Critical Hit and Armor Break still work with a lightsaber equipped?

I'm also curious, if you pick up Improved Spin Attack in the Pikeman profession, can you use that with either a 2H weapon or a saber equipped, or does it work only when pikes are equipped?

no your wrong on that, there is one thing you can do with your saber and those skills

everything i've read says TK innate armor works.

and many other abilities work when your LS isn't equipped.

I could be totally wrong though.

Keep CM. When you can use CM back on a BH it gets REALLY fun!
