You should check out the threads in the "General Game Discussion" forums, the posts there aremuch more despondent and depressing than even here. And I'm sure they can't all be branded "Jedi."
There's a whole thread where people talk about how many people out of their friends list still sign on, let's just say the average is very very low. I know mine was three weeks ago the last time I logged on during what used to be peak time. 7 friends out of 119 I believe

people have always complained that their friends in their friends list stopped logging on....
part of the reason is because many people stop befriending newbs.... i recruit citizens for my city and there are new players in mos eisley every day.

Having Noobs in teh game is good, but, having friends you palyed with since launch, that can not be replaced. Certainly (even though numbers are not released) the gaem feels less populated. Go to the major cities they are empty, go to MO and that has quite a few people, but they are either just PvPing in a circle or running grinding groups to grind out templates. You hardly ever see the large imperial forces ladning in Tyrena and killing all the rebels (mostly because there are no rebels there anymore), or seeing the daily faction PvP in anchorage or bestine. No longer are cantinas full of entertainers chatting to each other and there patrons. No more big hunt groups. It really is sad how things changed. I hardly come on anymore simply because of the lack of people I use to group with and because the game itself is not that fun anymore, it just doesn't "feel" like star wars, they made too many poetic license changes.
Still hoping that one day they will finally get a decent project management team, and some leaders with a clear "star wars vision". Here's to hoping.
