The term 1 to 1 skill point Respec is a fluffy way of say the 6.9 mil to 36.4 mil XP Respec...
Cost of a Double Mastery Temp 36.4 mil
Cost of a temp using all level 1 and 2 boxes for the means of spending all SP6.9 mil
Lets see 36.4-6.9=29.5mil
So too some up, A new Padawan will have to grind 29.5 mil XP less than someone who has a double mastery Template now....This defenitley seems like the most fair option in my book....I mean who really wants to "earn" their XP anyway.

but they "HAD" to have dabbler templates to be "VIABLE". Thats such a crock. I "HAVE" to have an overt gank squad and a BH to find opposing knights to complete in the frs...SO I DIDNT DO IT!!!Just as I cant compete or be "VIABLE" in combat against a jedi with novice brawler soI didnt pick it up. I "HAD" to have double mastery in order to have optimum force points and master tier enhancer skills. In the words of Popeye "you buttered your bread". In other words "you made your bed now sleep in it". I understand that working hard for things in this game and then having them givin out for next to nothing to players who just started playing is just the cycle of this game, so I'm not fighting this 1 for 1 point conversion.Such isthe way of things...the way of SOE. But anyway thnx for the numbers really puts things into perspective.

Well said LOL-- yeah I mean why not -- tell ya what they should just make all Knights Master Jedi, then give the paddys the free Points -- then they should just let all FS people in the village get all the boxes they want whenever they want without the work.
OR Maybe we just give tier for tier box earnings so that everyone stays and gets what they earned so that there is no influx, no issues, no people getting somthing unearned (like 29mill xp). I mean really... just think about this a second...Nothing is for free... nothing somewhere somone or somehow its being payed for, if its not in the rest of the population, its in the entire Jedi community that earned the points the right way.
This subject almost needs to go away and be fixed... its really just this simple. We don't need this grief within Jedi right now.. we have enough on our plate then to have to see how much Free XP Paddy's get.. or even shoud get.
I don;t know about you guys but Im worried that we CAN LIVE first... Most Paddy's know what is fair, the ones that support the SP to SP are the ones that want OR need that free XP, they don't think earning it is fair and are pretty much not alot different then the FIght Clubbing that is going on.
Just the facts man...

My God man this is a travesty. You are brilliant, I can't believe that no one else has noticed this before. I would have expected a major issue like this to have been a hot topic in this forum. I'm surprised that there hasn't already been 1,069,094 posts already on this subject.

Have you taking the time to read any of the posts by people concerned with the viablity of finishing a template post CU? Its something like kill 3 or 4 creatures; wait 10 minutes for force regen, repeat. Considering that people have been grinding templates under 3 months...
36,460,000 template pre CU (3 month) < 36,460,000 template post CU (9 month grind or longer)
There is no compairing what you were, or did before the CU to after the CU. That has been the point in letting everyone respec.

you know all of the respec threads are funny but getting old.
the devs have a lot more to deal with i personally think that creating a special respec engine to take into account how "fair" it is for jedibob or jedisuzie with a concern ab out his or her personal concepts of what respec should be.
if they do a xp conversion with an xp wipe some will not be happy, if they do an xp conversion with out an xps wipe (i.e. if you have a -10 million that you lose on respec and have to regrind to get back to knight) others will be upset, finally you have what they are doing: the sp to sp conversion: no one is directly hurt, others are helped and those that worked to get to knight under either of the older system are pissed off.
face it there is not going to be a system to please everyone. there is no universally fair way to do a respec on jedi as we are the only profession to have to deal with negative xps. the devs will in fact default to making an engine that works for all the professions and move on to dealing with more important inssue (in thier view nor yours), like CTD or balancing all the professions to thier view of right is right.
if you are a knight great, you will still be a knight, if you are not a knight great again you get a gift. in the end no one is hurt by the sp to sp conversion, some are upset by feeling others are getting a "free" ride, for that i am sure the devs are losing sleep over (you think?)
i really as a jedi could care less. the devs will do something, and someone is not going to be a happy camper. I will be for one reason, in the i go home at the end of the day log into a game and enjoy playing it and being with friends.

this is based on the assumption that grinding after the CU is going to be a LOT harder
and everything points in that direction ....
so how "fair" is it that you (only because you started and finished your grind before the CU)
could grind up to a million and morexp per buff (inculding that buff made you almost invincible!!!!!!)
and post-CU grinders have a much harder way than you had
STOP IT HERE AND NOW !
not everything is fair
the system is changing constantly and some profit by it while others dont
and my assumption is as good as yours because atm we dont know if the SP to SP conversion
is going live or not
. (period)

OMG not another cry post about the sp - sp conversion..... ENOUGH ALREADY....
you are crying about something STUPID.....
the same people who are crying for this are also crying for a negative 10 mill reset... go figure.... everybody WANTS SOMETHING....
stop already.... these dumb threads are getting old....
i am in the positive so wait.... are you willing to grind back that -10 mill you lost as a knight? i hope so unless you are being biased about your jedi....
you would be asking for a freebie like everybody else... and dont assume anything about me.... i am completed for a long time...
i pve and pvp on a regular basis.... i keep myself in the positive in case they did decide to do a xp conversion.... but guess what.... all those people who didnt put 2 + 2 together well now they are in the hole and asking fora -10 mill reset but yet still want a xp conversion... i find that so ironic....
stop whining its the system they are using.... enough already...

Save your breath (or hands rather). You also have 36460000 noobs clamoring to get that free xp and only 6900000 against it. Lost cause.
