fighting mobs is boring. but 2 higher level player going head to head is much more fun. not just sitting there typing out moves. seems that it is going to be very boring when you start off. but once you start to get some decent specials its not bad at all. feels alot more like starwars to me.

YUP i liked SWg becuase you could go into the jedi class with a ton of choices to your template. lots of cool animations, and lots of this and that to help mold your own unique toon.

that is gone. i have been on the TC now for some time, and it blows. i am still low level so i cant give it a complete thumbs down but here goes:

there is no force bar.

these is no template changes..everyone will be the exact same

combat is a matter of holding down the left mouse button (make sure your on target) AND THAT IS IT.. you can throw a special in by letting up on the left mouse button and pressing the right mouse button. this includes all offensive and defensive buffs.

yes combat if faster, but all your doing is standing there with the mouse button held down while making sure your are on target.

this is like the old system in regards to spaming specials. you dont have to actually press the button though. just hold it down, and attacks are just spammed for you.

gaining xp is cool when you are alone, in a group i tool about 60% less xp per kill. and i did go to dantoonie to try and power grind ..LOL what a joke, all of us got about 18 xp per kill when if i did it alone i was getting 80-96 xp per kill.

there is no stims to heal yourself, just pray you kill it first. (this may change at higher levels not sure) but if it does not change it will be jedi heals for the win. and i am sure they blow too.

all of the specials last for about 20-30 second, now take away the fact that the animation for these specials lasts a good 5 seconds. so just reduce that from the actual timer.

lets see what else.. the one thing that was cool was the intro quests, the new quest system, and the lot system seems to be good. but that may just be becuase they are testing it out. mostly everything i looted had to be bio-linked.

oh and force run...lasts for 3 seconds lol, what a joke.

if anyone has anymore questions pls post i will answer it if i can,. i will be on the forums for about 30 more minutes.

And if you go back a few months, you'll see that everyone hated the CU very much before it hit, but a lot of people still played and adapted after it...
Plus, saying that an entire game will suck after playing through about 1/8th of the levels is dumb. Not to mention you'll be lvl 80 right off the bat after respec... so meh.

I noticed some of the same things you did, but one correction I can offer is there are stims. On the newbie space station there's a quest where you get 5 Stim A's. I haven't seen Stim B's through D's yet, so I can't confirm if those exist or not. But I have seen and used the Stim A's.

The cooldown timer on the Stim A's is significant. It effectively means you can only use 1 per battle. (I don't have access to Ruby Bliel on TestCenter so I can't tell you if they "fixed" that or not)
