I was hoping this NGE thing was just a bad dream or an April fools joke. Then I realised that I haven't been sleeping and it is November. This sucks. I'm not even a Jedi but I am an old school player from launch and these changes to an FPS system are just too much. Why a complete overhaul of the game? Why not a tweaking of what we have with some added content?

Because SoE are just as bad as EA. They're obsessed with producing "new and improved" products to gain NEW customers rather than build a well-rounded game first try which is top of the line.

Companies like SoE and EA are too short sighted to see that producing a single game which has a number 1 selling rate (such as Rockstar with the GTA series) is better than producing 50 games in a month and 49 of them being crap and 1 being half-decent... SoE just likes to"upgrade" (dummyfy)there games fora wider market rather than pleasing there current base. Ultimately it will fail, they'll throw it down to bad luck insted of bad management and move onto there next project to ruin.

Its sad really.

I was just pondering... can you imagen if the Devs had been working on the pre-CU system for the last year and had perfected it insted of making a new one.

Can you imagen the complete euphoria sweeping the community, imagen how many accounts (multiple accounts per person no doubt) would have been renewed, how much positive publication this game would have gotten and how many people would have been generally pleased and brought there friends and family into the game again.

Insted we get this NGE turd which has generated more negative publicity than any game i've ever seen, i've never seen this many accounts cancelled and the fact that theres less flame posts than Nerf (publish) 22 says to me that a majority of the so-called "trolls" and "flamers" have given up flaming and trolling and have simply quit rather than holding out hope any longer...

What the hell is wrong with SoE? honestly... do they not like money?!

Although i still hold out some hope that the community isnt going to simply say "GO AWAY TROLL!" "CANCEL IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT!" as i've seen so many other people endure, i'd like to let those people know that you are part of the problem, not part of the solution, by telling people who are voicing there opinions and speaking out against what SoE is doing are trolls is only making the situation 10x worse... and you're only being trolls yourself.

Anyway, what do you guys think would have happend if SoE had worked on the pre-CU system insted of an entirely new one?
