Taken from the new part of the NGE FAQ. So Jedi will no longer craft their sabers ?

weaponsmiths were never able to craft sabers before. plus the schematics are in the Jedi skill trees according to those folks that have ripped the .tre files

The jedi profession boxes in the recent screenshots from NGE show lightsaber exp/assembly skill mods, so clearly jedi will craft their sabers.


Since sabers aren't tradeable, I don't think they fall into the same category as other crafting.
