what's all this about holocrons & additional skills not listed on the screens to the 4 phases?

form 0-7 lightsaber from holocrons: are these the holocrons we've been using to figure out what prof to do next, and refill our force bar?

cloak, lightning? people say they might be earned from quests or looted?!


where's all this info coming from and how reliable is it? any chance we might get a manual with our new game that explains this stuff? that description tiggs did in the FAQ doesn't cut it.

any chance we could get this question added to the stickied list of things we want to know?

my understanding of where this comes from is a ex-corro posted it based off of pulling apart the TRE files. There was a thread about it on in the jedi forums. Do a search on posts from SonGouki (think thats how you spell it)

MsNil was wrong, it's not skills. Holocrons will provide BUFFS after the NGE. I'm sure it was an honest mistake but calling it skills just causes more misunderstanding. This is of course based solely on the info we have at the moment, which derives soley from SonG's time spent going through the .tre files and sifting the info out.

yeah, his post is one of the sources for my questions. i saw that he ripped the tre, but that only says he ripped a tre. that stuff might not even come live for a couple more publishes. they sometimes package stuff a couple publishes before they actually activate it

so no OFFICIAL word on this stuff i take it? no red names have commented on holocrons yet?

Well considering the force bar goes away with the NGE. we have to assume that the holocron buffs will come with it too.

regardless of how great this patch is, i really can't stand the way these people work. we have to hack to learn how to play their game lol

something tells me the best thing might be to come back jan 06 after they have time to nerf everything we're about to figure out
