Thread: Basic Force Sap?

Hey Guys, I was just thinking about my template and possible changes that I could make to it. One of the things that crossed my mind was to pick up xx2x in healer for basic sap and I was wondering if anyone knows the stats off the top of their head, or better yet if anyone has tried it in 1v1 pvp.

It sucks.
Won't help against a mbh/mcm with squad leader buffs like me.

LOL...I'm not overly concerned about you types.
This is more for Jedi/stacker duels, I was just wondering if anyone knew how long it lasts, and how much it reduces their regen and such.

Got a buddy that loves improved force sap, I am not sure if the regular one is as helpful though.
Anyone have the difference between regular and improved I would be interested as well.

The difference between the two are 20% debuff and 20 secs I think. Basic (20%mind 25%action, 20secs) Improved (40%mind 45%action, 40secs) If I remember correctly. Also, Basic will suck your mind away really fast.

Yeah, this is pretty much why I wanted to know as well...I just dueled a good friend of mine last night who had improved, and while I still won the sap was a pain in the neck. So that got me thinking about how much do I really need xxx2 Enhancer, and that basic sap could serve me better. The 20%/25% actually sounds about right I think, though I know improved lasts for 60 secs, so I was guessing either 40 or 30 for basic, but I was hoping someone knew for certain.

It's not 40-50% improved debuffs like 30 points. Not really all that useful if the person is using spice/foods/buffs. I have 4140heal and use Sap a lot, but in all honesty it's not worth the skill points, they could be spent better elsewhere.

i forgot but its much less than improved.. almost unoticeable.. I had it and dropped it like its hawt.

It was a -65% action regen buff post-cu and had been changed about 2-5 weeks into it. I'm not positive...

Yeah, I know Improved it -35% action, -30%mind for 60 secs. Unfortunatly I can't fit that in my template too well. However I could pick up basic farily easy to use vs. stackers and some Jedi. I just wondered how much worse it is lol.

think its 20% action, 15% mind for heal xx2x
