I agree with you, Msnil you could have let a sleeping dog lie but you stirred the pot and kept stirring,
and yes i can see how the Carebears got exactly what they wanted to the 10th Power and the other Poster is right Jedi has Been a PvP profession from the very beginning there is no arguing that point.
You will find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own points of view

We had no mounts, or vehicles at the start of the game.. so by your definition, anyone who has a mount or a vehicle is a "carebear" because they were added to the game making it easier?
"Back in my day, we RAN everywhere, and we LIKED it.. none of this fancy-smancy mount/vehicle stuff you guys have today.. wusses!".
Yes, I'm sure we all know that jedi = Forced PVP at launch.. that doesn't make it a good idea.. games change, and frankly, the ability of Jedi to choose when they engage in pvp has been long overdue.
If you're so hell bent on getting attacked at every opportunity, you have the ability to go Special Forces 24/7.

- She has always been in favor of pve jedi and asked to be "freed" from forced pvp.

Any jedi can be free of forced PVP, stay off the terms (and if the FRS was here, don't participate). That wasn't good enough though.
That's not really acceptable.. that means you can't participate in much of the content in the game if you don't want to pvp.. while everyone else in the game can freely participate.
I went with the "stay off the terms" route.. it was boring, because I couldn't participate in much of RotW, ToOW or core game content, due to it involving NPC's which generate visibility. So, eventually, I just stopped playing.
I like pvp, dueling.. but I dislike griefing and childish "smacktalk", and that is why I generally don't particpate in pvp on my server.. the gameplay it offers is fun, the social side of it is the pits.
