Hi

I only manage to play a few hours a week and have been here since launch. I have worked hard mastering 20 profs and got my jedi slot. At the moment I have 4 jedi trees with a few boxes in each but Im CL40. Should I get some non-jedi skills to get up to CL80 to get a better respec??

Please help

Yes. apparently only cl matters. The number of jedi skills don't make any difference at this time. hopefully they will change this soon but if it stays the same your best chance is to get any skill points so you can be lvl 80

Looks like I'll be grinding like mad to get CL80.

Anyone who is a Jedi (which is defined as having the first skill box) will receive the Elder Rewards. So no, you do not have to be a maxed out Jedi to receive the reward.

But should I still try to get CL80 even if it means dropping jedi boxes?

No info is complete right now, but someone asked Tiggs if they had to be full temp or lvl 80. She responded that as long as you have the first Force sensitive skill box you would be considered a jedi in transfering. As it stands right now whatever gets you to lvl 80 does not matter. This may change, but this is what has been said by Tiggs so far

If you have the skill points to get to 80 without dropping anything that would be the best. With your concern on the issue I assume you probably can't. I am not sure what I would do. I would hate to give advice then have it be the wrong circumstance later... I have a BA in psychology yet have no desire to be a councilor...

I would probably train everything I can.. then if nothing has changed go ahead and drop what I needed to get to 80 at that point.
