Why introduce an 'end of quest' saber-crystal as an expansion reward on Nov 1. then remove the ability to use it on Nov. 15 with NGE?

Nearly every profession can say this too. Look at the poor Creature Handlers. They finally get a revamp after a long wait, and then they are removed from the game. And Rangers, are they even going to be in the game after this NGE? Yet their revamp details have already been posted on the "In Concept" boards. And with regards to what the OP stated about the saber-crystal, you really get the feeling that SOE didn't actually know much about this either. They seem to be making everything up ad-hoc.

Also 14 days ago tiggs posted for people to apply for the bio eng corrospondent, a bit weird considering what we know now.

And what about the recent snare changes? or the new improved AI for NPC's?

Yes it looks like Lucasarts has been doing some revamping on its own behind SOE's back and they can't do anything about it.

Many people cried about thatLucasarts should take over and this is it folks, no turning back.

I agree with you all. None of this makes sense at all if it was planned by SOE. All this talk of "having been planned for a long time now" is kind of offensive. We are not that stupid. Why would anyone go through the trouble the CU bought with it, and all the subsequent revamps of professions, many of which will no longer exist, if they knew this was going to happen. All the quest rewards and loot from the new expansion for professions being removed from the game. What iswith that? I think the claims of "being planned a long time" are SOE's final desperate attempt to save some dignity of a team that once developed a great game, which they no longer control.

People are levelling hatred at SOE left and right on the forums, but ONE look at the Gamespot article -See it here -about this CLEARLY says that LUCASARTS is responsible for this.

Why did Tiggs not know? She works for SOE, not LA. Seems rather self explanatory. Does this mean we should say "Sorry, SOE"? No - They have done a lot of bad things to the game. NOW, we get LA's vision of the game..

And almost UNIVERSALLY people hate the initial thought.

Just goes to prove - Be careful what you ask for, as you may get it.

I think that has alot to do with how the previous cu was handled tbh.

I hope we get a new community rep then.

for those of you who did not read sabers will still need to have crystals in them to use that is not changing.
