Do not get your hopes up no where does anyone state you can be jedi you will be a cl 80 FS character. Also congratulations you get your additional slot but no where does it state that if you have any points invested in jedi that you will recieve the veteran jedi rewards. The crafters respec is based on how many points invested in the crafting professions not by cl, therefor the jedi veteran rewards may be based upon whether or not you have enough points invested in the profession to be a cl 80 jedi character.

go look in the dev tracker tiggs said as a unlocked jedi even with one skill box you will get the reward of elder.

tiggs did state that if you are any level of jedi you will get elder rewards

you are absolutely correct it is stated quite clearly right there and I think they are wrong to do this because of the grind of fully templated jedi. I will say this and reserve judgement when I see how the older crystals/pearls convert in the system which should still give true veteran players a real advantage.
