just if anyone is curious, i've got a page that breaks down two templates and compares their base damage that can be done to each other. mostly for my own benefit before i grind jedi to give me some idea on templates compaired to what i'm used to now.
the two templates i compaired were:
Master Combat medic/Master Rifleman/ Carbineer x44x (my current template)
and
Master LS, Defender 1x4x, healer 4xxx, powers x4xx, enhancer 4xx2 (a popular template among those jedii know)
http://www.freewebs.com/uttley/Jedi%20Vs%20Rifleman.htm
sorry its a link, i tried posting it in this but lithium were having non of it
it is a very hypothetical look at compairing the damage, but when different people can make so much out of almost any template compairing is always hard. if nothing else it does show how little difference there is betweenan experienced jedi in pvp vs an experienced non jedi!

I dueled several MCM combos this weekend, and didn't have a problem with any of them.

its all about the player in the end. i knew a tremmendous PVPer - he would take on 3 jedi by himself and still win 80% of the time,, jsut really knew his template.he 'swapped' his account recently and with the exact same template, perls, etc the new guy gets his ass handed to him constantly. in the same way my template is used by a guildie and regularly beats M.Def type temp where i struggle with almost any full temp.
i onlyreally posted it for the curious eye
