What is the description of a Krayt pearl?
Where does one go to find a Krayt pearl?
Yes the loot tables got jacked and the Krayt pearls were dropping off imp npc's...........
But I mean where would one seriously look to find a Krayt pearl
Unless Lucas changes his mind about some SWG lore I wonder if the specific planet to find Krayt pearls will change
Though not officially sanctioned by SWG or any other authorized agent, here is my take (or logic, if you so desire):
A Krayt pearl is somewhat like a "kidney stone" that is rare and exclusive to the Krayt Dragon (it is much more polite to say "pearl" than "kidney stone" don't you think?). They possess certain qualities/characteristics which assist the force in the utilization of a jedi's lightsaber.
A Krayt pearl location is somewhat self explanitory - Krayt Dragons possess them, and can be recovered by killing the creature and looting its bodily possessions. NPCs have been know to acquire these Krayt pearls through trades and more unscrupulous means, but such finds are extremely rare.

Finding the Krayt pearl is somewhat akin to Hans using Luke's lightsaber to open up the gut ofLuke's extremely smellymount in Episode 5...it is not a pretty job, but someone must do it for the recovery of the pearl!
Just my thoughts...

Excellent post lol
I'm just wondering why there are all these conspiracy theories about where to find pearls after the expansion.

The only theory of finding thesethat proves factual is having 50 million in credits and finding a possessor of said Krayt pearl willing to part with his treasure.
