You find it disheartening that thats how they responded to that gibberish? Respect is earned, not handed out like Halloween candy for the people here that do nothing but 'dress up' like Jedi, but don't come anywhere near acting like it.
Maybe everyone posting personal insults and attacks should be a little more respectful and just present their arguments like adults.
Give a well thought out post, that has supporting statements and facts, and your post should be fine, whether it agrees or disagrees.
I do not agree with things in the patch. The snare is the big one for me. However it is also not right for people to just post insults, threats, and other kinds of hysterical nonsense.

When someone pays for customer service, they don't have to be respected to get the customer service they pay for.
Guild Wars doesn't charge a monhly fee, and ever their customer service is not this bad.

while i agree there shouldn´t be any insults or whatsoever, i don´t think we are to blame for it.
let´s say you buy a color tv and after some while it gets nerfed and only works in black&white, you go back to the store and complain but the salesman just walks away. what do you do? you prolly look puzzled and try the next saleman. he ignores you too and walks away. this is when you get angry and start shouting cause your product is broken but no one listens to your concerns.
we have the same here, the snares been in ToOW beta, we raised our concerns and got ignored. the snares went to TC and we raised our concersn again and got ignore. it still went to live and everyone felt ignored and so lets out their anger.
this could have easily been avoided by SOE with communication from their side, but nothing happened. Tiggs said there would be a Focus thread about the snares, well where is it? we got ignored once more and even lied to.
