17-18k from what I've seen posted around.
thats it i'm going M defender/smuggler/commando and make my alt group with me for the SL buffs.. then hit AI and own the world of PvP... LOL

It Shouldnt happen at all , it shouldnt matter what template or Foods they are taking or what wepon at all, these damages are WAY out of proportion for this game considering the average Player starts witn a 3k health pool , and with any player there is some resists to the damage recieved , but That is just Stupid damage amounts
I reported this on BETA. AFter the supposed changes with SL buffs and Sniper shot I was still hit for over 2900 damage while being a Master Defender with Aura running.
This is nothing new, it was reported. The devs just decided to ignore it and push it live anyways.
Wait till people see what a Critical shot can do with SL buffs........that's going to be a nice surprise.

That rocks. I'm so glad I beta tested this and the devs listened to our feedback/warnings...it really warms my heart.
...and all the trolls/devs keep saying the Jedi are whiners. Hmmm.

First strike.BH pulls up on group of grinding jedi, lays down and sets up. The only recourse now if for the whole grind group to scatter (and I can forsee MBH/MR becoming very popular, with /cover and a SL in tow, they can sneak up on grind groups and one shot their target if they do it right).
I don't think that is the point...This isn't only about the Jedi profession. It's about anyone on the receieving end of this and whether or not it's balanced. The answer is obvious to anyone who understands how to play a game without god mode.
