Thread: Cloak breaking upon area KD...

No, I am not speculating, this is indeed happening to me ingame, on serveral occasions actually. This has only been occuring since I've logged in to patch 24. The question is... is this a bug? Is it just me? Or... *gulp*... working as intended? Any insight would be appreciated...

No /kdrecover, just happens on impact?

you mean when you get hit by area kd or when you kd recover, if the latter, the kd recovery has always broken cloak

Yes, this happens when I get hit with area KD while cloaked. I suppose it could be when I try to /KDrecover, but those actions are somewhat simultaneous for me so it is hard to tell.

If your cloaked while KD and press /knockdownRecover you will uncloak.

kdrecover is considered a combat action (its in the combat tab if you press crtl+a) so using it will break cloak. All you do is wait till /stand works 15-20 seconds after being kd'd usually

I guess I just got caught up in thewhole "zomg SOE is teh suck!" trend that has become popular as of late.

has anyone had a problem where they are fighting someone and cloak on the run and when u click on the guy attacking u u uncloak?


cuz it did to me and I didnt realiz it and he DB'd me

possibly you had a auto attack on and it used that, wether ur in range or not it wil try attacking and break cloak
