I am totally amazed at the flurry of posts of changes, nerfs, bugs and the shockwaves that seem to never end. Was it like this on TC? I know there were issues and there was some uproar but this is nuts. I've gone way past sad to the point of being entertained by this patch.

In a way, I'm glad I'm at work right now. If I were at home in front of my computer trying to play SWG, I think I'd be pulling out all my hair or throwing things at my monitor (if even half of what I'm reading here today is true):

Missing POIs
No more Quality crystals due to level cap
Weapon crafting nerf
1-shot incaps
Ranged chain/perma-snares
Hybrid/Powers stealth nerf

I haven't read anything today about Action/Mind costs going up, but from what I read on the Beta forums last week I'm sure that's lurking out there somewhere as well.

"Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!"

And just think... we still have the Cloak snare to look forward to in the Ranger Revamp!

I'll work on finishing my Y8 quest tonight. Hopefully the mission waypoint issue is fixed now, so I can still have some fun for a while I guess.

Is the TC environment even anything like the Live environment!? If not, then you'd obviously get bugs in live that you'd never see on TC.

i'm more incredulous than sad, but as i'm heading home...I just hope its as entertaining in-game with all this **edit** going on.

and yes, 99% of these problems were seen on TC and the devs simply chose to ignore us as usual.

OMG NERF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL, no but seriously I'm just laughing at all this now. I just wont log on my Jedi and play on my alt. I'll try to see if i can find ways to solo the high end mobs that's always fun. And with the new AI it should be very challenging

I don't know how they picked the beta testers...there were quite a few noobs (no, I'm not flaming...we were ALL noobs once) so I don't know how good the testing actually was, in the big picture.

The TC was definitely buggy...stability, lag, rubber-banding, etc. and it was reported.

They let anyone grab a Jedi then closed it off so nobody could grab a Jedi. The Jedi who were Jedi in live did their best, and reported everything you are reading about here: snare was game breaking, AI was brutal, etc.

But, apparently they didn't listen...

Do we even have a TC environment? Better yet, a deleveopment team? Come on SOE, go and hire some Oompah Loompahs!

The testing was done right, the bug fixing was not.

Not really, Jedi status should be tied to having a Jedi on your account. Are you telling me that I know how to play CM or WS better than someone who does it all the time?

Alot of the people "dueling" on TC2 (ToOW) were twits who just wanted to play a Jedi. Were they helpful? Well the "dueling by the frog" people probably were useless, the others may have tried, but someone who plays his temp on TC2 would have been able to say "X is causing a problem."

Neither the testing nor the debugging were done properly. In the business world you typically test live data on a backup (ideally identical) of a production server. To do this SOE would: Copy X server. Install ToOW Data. Allow Bloodfin regulars to log in and test their characters. Actually listen to feedback. This would be after the initial clean data beta.

[shakes head] I don't understand their testing criteria.

Did you know
SOE has changed this game 3 times
Jedi went from being an Icon to a normal profession
The combat system is being reduced to Enemy Territory online
