To be very honest, this was until i start playing this game always a true word to me. I have a digital camcorder, Television, Surround set, Walkman, CD player, Car Hifi...All sony. And i must say, I'm very happy with it.
BUT.
WTHare these insane people doing at development of our beloved game?
They:
- Manage to keep bugs in the game since far before the CU. (tab problems (yep, still, try to get rid of joined channels...), painting schems from bestine..etc)
- Manage to push through a 'combat upgrade' while at least 75% of the community doesn't want it.
- Don't listen to the bug statements or cries for upgrades to almost all professions. See every profession forum.
- Keep nerfing jedi until its nothing more then a novice brawler with a glowstick, and therefore saying 'upyours' to people who paid at least 10 months and grinding their fingers numb to get it. (see jedi forum)
- Publish updates with so called 'fixes', but don't test it carefully and have to patch the fix and fix the patch later again. (yep Y8 mining vessel can't still mine, see quests forum
)
)- Do listen to the whining kid's that play for a few weeks and cry about not being able to kill a mighty jedi (forgetting the time and effort man has to do getting a Jedi). So in stead of making a way to be able to smarten out the BH's target, they nerf the Jedi. (see BH forum)
- Answering serious questions from people who know what they are talking about, with uberly noobish answers. (like when i could not use my factory, due to a unsuspected logout;The radial kept turning. They answered me to put in a schematic first. omg, apes! i tell ya)
- Set their priorities wrong. In stead of fixing the 'double-damage' macro exploit, or the mind regen problem from MCM, they introduce new things or nerf abilities.
But what really is the saddest thing is:
- They wreck the great community we have, with friends we have made in the years we play this game. Friends that leave, because they just cannot take it any longer.
I tell you this, and then I'm finished typing my frustrationabout this provenfoolish management at SOE:
I love this game, loved it and I don't wanna leave because of my friends i have made in this game. However I will go through great lengths keeping our community together and move to another game, where the people who play and pay for the game are respected and not be taken for fools who pay until they have jedi and then leave.
I surely hope they refresh management at some time, or bring in people who care for this game. Or, maybe even mr. Lucas himself takes a look at how theyslowly killhis 'child', cause this is purely rubbish.
I'm sorry i have to be this harsh, but I think everyone agrees I'm telling no lies.

THEY TRYING TO COPY WOW...a game for silly KIDS.
I played WoW............kids GAME my friend!
I always loved SWG for its own difference......the pre-cu combat system was genious...thwe queu great. I mean there were some major bugs and something to address (buffs and armos) but at least i could TACTICALLY manage my combat, not silly pushing buttons. If i want to do that i simply go to play my XBOX, yes XBOX not SONY playstation
