Based on the current info, yes. You will transfer at your level. So it follows that you want to be as high in your profession as possible. At least that is my take on it.

until the clear up who is inside and who is outside the gate....it is hard to say.

I have 1.5 boxes to complete and by gosh I am going to do it. That way I can cry and moan for the rest of my SWG life about having to grind out a full template. LOL

No!!!!
If you are a new padawan, etc, DO NOT grind Jedi, stick to your old combat profs, and indeed, REGRIND them back to 80...
Make sure you are CL80 and have jedi padawan when this (expletive deleted) hits live.
Then again, what does it matter anyway, since a master artisan can now respec to jedi?

Well, I'm CL 69, about halfway through my grind but I'm still scared to drop my Jedi skills and regrind back up to CL 80. I still have TKM but would have to grind out another Elite profession but I was waiting on more info to see if only Jedi skills will convert to Jedi like they did after the CU or if ANYTHING will convert to ANYTHING. If the second is the case then yes, Drop all Jedi skills and grind back your old Professions just keep the Jedi Padawan box and you should be peachy and become an Elder Jedi.
