If you really played KOTOR and tested this new CU then you would know that even KOTOR 1 blows it away.
This new system is worse than 10 year old star wars games.

Just got my saber up over 600 damage and looks like that will be way over the limit in NGE.

Tiggs Message on Pearls

Looks like 400 is max base damage, with 4 crystals at 20 max, 480 will be best saber available. Please tell me I'm wrong.

Nope, looks like that's about right. But take into account that all other weapons are lowering as well. Also, take into account attack speed.

Are you seeing any pearls/powercrystalsthat converted with a min damage ofmore then 15?
Are you seeing any pearls/power crystalsthat converted with a max damage of more then 20?
Are you seeing pearls with any stats other then damage?
Do color crystals behave as expected?
Do pearls/power crystals behave as expected?

It would appear that Saber damage will be a joke as well as max weapon damage in general. Talk about a limp saber.

can we not have 20 threads in 15 minutes about this. And it means nothing if you dont know how the system behaves as in weapon damage x special modifier. I was using a 9-22 damage knuckler and hitting for over 80-90 consistently at lvl 3 with just a basic attack.

Sorry Mr. Moderator, but I've been on the forums for an hour, on the first page, and only saw 1 post about it. Something about range being 15-20, but thought that was attack range.

A lightsaber in KOTOR do like 16 damage and that rocks.

For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

Two things.Damage will all be relative

Second.This was not supposed to be Kotor despite the efforts of the quoted no "forced PvP" poster above.

Sad that you have apparently played Kotor yet insisted on bringing our game to that level.If things were so bad here you could/should have returned to KOTOR

What I gain from those above threads is that it might be time to craft a lighsaber with ALL points in damage before NGE hits. It also might be a good idea to craft a 3rd gen too since CL80 jedi aren't certified for 4th gen per those recent skill sheets.
