There is basiclly no defense Vs Chain Snaring right now. Dev's, you've done it again.
There is no resist for it. There is no recovery for it. There is no reasonable cool-down timer for it.
At least +ROOT+ breaks on damage, shouldn't +SNARE+?
Stack this with the SL buff unbalance issues and it clear the Dev's have no respect for us and want us to die in-game until we quit. Guess what SOE: WoW is here, D&DOL; CoV & Huxley are coming... way tokeep SWGin business.

I don't understand it either. It's unbalanced, they knew it and pushed it live. Somebody at the top must be on some hardcore stuff telling the devs really stupid things to do, because I find it hard to believe they're that stupid.
I REALLY wish they had a managment change at SOE and this kind of stupid crap would be in the past. If SOE cared about it's customers, this would of NEVER happened.

Root does not break on attack. Are you sure that wasn't Concussion shot? Concussion shot roots you and also makes you unable to attack or do any commands, but it also breaks on damage.

I second that notion.

There are different types of roots.
A regular root only stops your movement, you can still attack and heal etc.
A Daze (IE Stasis or Concussionshot) will root you at the same time as stop you from healing or attacking or doing anything. THIS BREAKS ON DAMAGE.

Root does not break on damage. Paralyze breaks on damage, root stays til the timer wears off. BUT the root re-use timer is much longer then the snare re-use timer. They need to re-adjust the timers on all snares is all. Until then there's no point in wasting time playing IMHO.
