Thread: Dev's really screwed up snare and root in the first place

Snare's and root'sshould be a melee only skill to balance out kiting. Ranged professions shouldn't even have a snare or root. Givingranged professions the ability to keep a melee person out of range indefinatelyis completely game-breaking for any melee profession, not just Jedi.

very good point...how do snare a guy from 80 meters anyway...you have to next to them..

so true, range alrdy have a advantage to run around and not get attacked without being about to snare and root in the first place.

Both should be completely removed from the game. This is Star Wars for gods sake not EQ2. We are not a "magic" based game. I can see a stun that slows you for a moment but Snare? This should be a special weapon that is used by rangers and fires a net which "snares" you. I can also see a trap that would hold you to the ground and "root" you in place.



The only people who want it are those who put it to their upmost advantage. I consider it any exploit created by the devs.

maybe if they give mbh's a giant box and stick to hold it up and jedi run to the new carrot crystal underneath the large box on a stick and the pull the string and the box falls on us???????
