well more I look at our skills more I think we aren't Master not Knights.
I was thinking about the overwhelming jedi population issue and I come with this (arguable) idea :
- Move all jedi to Padawan / FS
- Leave us our actual skills but reduce the skill point usage
- Let us take others professions so we can make fully crafter FS, healers FS and so on.
- Remove forced Pvp to Padawan / FS
- Create Jedi Knight and Master skills with powerfull skills and make them hard to get, very hard.
In few words yes we would be able to use sabers and powers but no better as we do now (medium damage range)
This way Padawan / FS would bring some emhancements to others profession :
A half doc + half Padawan / FS would be an awesome healer even better than a Doc + CM one
A half crafter + half Padawan / FS would be an impressive crafter
A haf ranged (or melee) + half Padawan / FS would be a very challenging ennemy
There are lots of flaws in this concept but I bet with your input something really good can be tweaked and make room for real masters
