Thread: is it just me or does SOE really not care alot of their customers are quiting?
Things will change i'm sure, as they know we are vocal about this (remember the xp nerf ?)
You and I both know it's all about numbers.
So long as they can close out the month or quarterwith positive growth, then canceled accounts mean nothing.

problem (for SOE)is word is spreading fast on the state of the game.. just ask a friend what they think of swg and if they plan on playing, most will say "I heard that game sucks".

The numbers are shrinking not growing, they know it but lie about it lol. Look around the servers except for a few most are devoid of life except in two cities.
They see the numbers fall and panick lol. They do the opposite of what is needed. They're solution is to pump out an expansion and try to grab headlines. The madness that follows the half finshed projects they push live, forces more people to quit while they grab a few new people. They also toss out a free gift lol. Hoping the underlying need of people to want, keeps them here lol.
If they would stop panicking and sit back and realise no one cares how soon the next expansion will be out. they just want a working game and to taken as serious customers who's opinions matter.
They rush things to capatolise on timeframes for other ventures, those ventures will never end so niether will half finished publishes and expansions. In the spring I'm sure Lucas arts will have a new cd set, the coplete collection or somthing, so lets pump an expansion out then too. Oh and give the smugglers a revamp then too, but not what they want, lets give them what we think they need. since we play the game once a month we know better lol.
This loop is never going to end. Not untill who ever is running this company and calling the shots steps up to the plate and says "Wait this isnt working the dams leaking too much" or is fired.
It's been almost 2.5 years and nothing has changed in the attitudes of the powers that be here, if anything it's gotten much much worse.

With publish 9/10 it seemed that SOE were basing their gaming market soley on Jedi, now they seem to be reversing their marketting strategy which is killing the game.
Have you noticed the amount of crafters disappearing as well?
