Thread: Solution to the BH / SL Problem

I'm not advocating not playing. I mean we all have alts.

There was once a time when there was visibility given to a Jedi even when grouped with people.

There was once a time when Jedi did have to grind all alone out in the middle of no-where.

We can return to these times and deprive all the BH's of their Jedi hunting content.

Then maybe our voices will be heard ... although I really doubt it.

Working within the system in which we have been given can work, if we try. ( And we don't have to wait unitl the DEV's fix anything ) -- We can fix it ourselves.

There is one way we ( Jedi ) can end this entire problem -- let them kill us --

That's right, go out get as much visibility as you can, get on the terminals, get killed and then go into hiding.

If every Jedi on every server would do this, then all of the BH content of hunting Jedi would be gone. No more Jedi on the terminals for them to hunt, nada.

It's a rash solution, but we have the power to actually take the BH content of hunting Jedi out of the game.

The solution is to disallow SL buffs to bounty hunters carrying pc Jedi missions, and debuff Jedi with SL buffs who are TEF'd by BHs.


But, the code is probably so screwed up that this would take years to accomplish.

Yoda..... i think i will join you into exile! Right now jedis are no match for BHs and before you noobs say that i suck at pvp and thats why i cant kill any BH then your so wrong. Jedis have been nerfed and it still might be possible to kill a BH (very very very hard now) but not 3 BHs at once


Before i became a jedi, i wanted to hide from the public or hide myself that i was a jedi, but unfortuatally by the time i became a jedi, there were so many jedis in the world that there was really no point, but now i can finally do that and it has a point now



I would like to be Unnerfed and still have to be in exile but... o well exile it is..... (i hope they fix jedi in the future though)






Submit to my rule, or fall like the others.. mauhahahaha

Ok, for the sake of argument imaginethese are their new patch notes: (I am not advocating these changes, nor want them, just imagine it for you!)


All ranged weapon drops above +25 will not be dropping until we enhance the creatures carrying them. We're sorry for the inconvenience, and maybe six months later we'll look at it again. Wait did a player catch us on this yet, umm, nothing's wrong with drops until you catch us.


We broke weapon speed with the last publish but won't fix it until we feel like it, and we don't yet, not only that, we won't reallyadmit to it until some smart players prove it mathematically.


Critical Shot now only does 1.1 times normal damage.


We know that people appreciated the change to +cover+ for players in groups, however that wasn't quite the way the skill was intended to be used. As such we are draining your action every second you're covered and cutting your movement speed to 1/4 what it was.


The CM speed debuff has been ruled out of balance and will be changed to -10, we know it's less than either the doc or jedi buff now, and we won't explain the logic behind it, but its for the better of the game. (Because doc/jedi buffs were changed and cm debuff was not)


The mind bar regenwill be fixed when we get around to it, but again, only after several players can prove it's broken, and no less than several months later.


All ranged weapons have a range of 32m because ranged arms were abused.


The AB slice is only 25% as effective as it used to be. (No reason given to players on change)


Squad leader buffs reduced 50% and costs raised 25% to improve balance.


All Swordsman, Fencer, andTK weapons are now energy (no reason given).


Sniper shot now has a 10s warmup and 15s cooldown.


Roots and Snares have been reworked to be only 5 seconds with a 2 min reapplication timer.

I think people should just cancel their accounts and not log-in. Show SOE that you aren't going to take this lying down.



A rollback is coming, perhaps. We can't be sure, and the mods totally deny it, but IMO, that makes it all the more likely. Hang in there, it could come at any moment... All we've worked for may soon come to fruition...

Jedi going into hiding can never be an option until content exists for the Jedi that doesn't give vis. The current system is so badly thought out it hurts my head just thinking about it

OR I don't know, they could fix it like the SL Correspondent is asking them to do.


Might be better than paying for a game and not playing, but that's just me.
