Thread: So when everyone is Jedi....then what?

Ok we had too many Jedi as it was now everyone is working on Jedi. I'd say 75% of the server is either trying to get the badges, waiting for the old man or working on Jedi already. So when 75% of the server is Jedi and the crafting classes are useless and all the other professions are just second rate combatants? Then what? JTL for a few months...then WOW?

You can try either continuing to play, or quit, that's the choice you're presented with, it's fairly simple.

Every person that is a jedi also has another character slot that can be anything they want. Its not as if everyone making jedi means there will be no non-jedis around.

As for what to do after that, that's the question in every game. What do you do when you are level 65 or whatever in EQ? Either you hang out socially and find ways to entertain yourself, you keep trying to hone and perfect your character in every possible way through obtaining rare equipment, you create a new character and do it again, or you quit and go play a different game.

Dude, if you looked at the sheer amount of exp needed...there won't be a tidal wave of jedi any time soon. Prof grinding was easier.

I know alot of people are going to do the trials just to get the skills for their 'main', then build the second character up to actually be a Jedi.

EXACTLY!

Most people said, "I will wait for the quests".

As if they would be easier.........guess what?

They aren't, and anyone who didn't like profession grinding, sure ain't gonna like this system anymore.

Glad I did it the easy way, before even the devs decided there were too many Jedi.

Give it another month, two at the most. Then we'll see who REALLY wants Jedi.

P.S. IT's cheaper to buy one on Ebay now, than if you figure out how many actual hours it will take you ever months to unlock, oh, and I almost forgot.

JEDI IS HARDER TOO NOW. (NO armor, no free dreaths, and working BH missions)

There just ain't ever gonna be 75% of the players with Jedi.

Never.

I think we were able to “tell” better stories, when we had player interdependency, and multiple, variable classes.

Will never happen. The delevopers have made the new system so long and time dependant that the majority wont have what it takes to complete. They met almost everyones requests too:

1many dont wanna have to change their professions to get jedi

2 it should be quest based so that becoming a jedi makes more sense

3 you can always see your progress along the path to jedi so you can keep motivated

4 made such diversity among FS skills thatnotmany will even WANT jedi, there are many FS enhanced template options now

5the path to jedi has been made a VERY long, committing process, ensuring only the strongwilled will complete it and keep the population in check.

My compliments to a well thought out system

Gasp at this though.... not everyone wants to be jedi. Alot of people are doing the quests for 1 of 2 other reasons....

Either they want the extra character or they want a few bonsuses to enhance their current character. So not everyone you see at the village will one day be weilding a glowstick

You only say that because you are already a jedi. If you had to do the new system you wouldnt like it too much.

I am just going to continue to have fun and get FS as I go.
