Thread: What should be done about respec Jedi

All respec Jedi should either start at a certain lvl other then 80. All these players should be rewarded for thier time grinding the village. Put in a system for every tree of FS you have you gain 10 lvls and then take in account there current lvl. If you lvl 80 you add in your current lvl of FS and then devide by 2. For example someone with 4 trees of FS and a lv 80:
40+80=120 then 120/2 = 60 (So 60 will be you starting lvl as a respec Jedi.)
I find this to be fair to all Non Jedi player and the current Jedi player. This might even stop the whinning, probally not. I also think it would be fair to Jedi that gave up skill points to gain Jedi abilities and dropped lvl. So a player who dropped downed to lvl 57 by giving up trees in master prof to gain the Jedi abilities wont feel like his grind for jedi exp wont be a waste. Also some one who is lvl 80 and is not even FS wont be come a higher lvl Jedi then the person that did di all the work to unluck.

There is no way sony could know now who rspected to jedi and who didnt its been way too long so your wasting your time.

There is nothing to be done about them. They will QUICKLY respec back out of Jedi, trust me. I've played the NGE as a Jedi, and it is absolutely horrid... No armor, 4m melee range, no specials worth noting, no defenses, attack at 1/2 the speed of ranged...
Jedi in the NGE have only slightly more combat ability than a dancer.
If we could take the medic and weild a lightsaber and wear robes, we'd be more jedi like than as a jedi.

All i know is that I spent all that time unlocking all my fs quests, as i just finished the last unlock on this current phase, and all of a sudden I now no longer have time to finish grinding out my fs boxes. It sucks. I hate the fact that the way I will now get my jedi is by respecing into it. However, with the current time limit there is No possible way that I can grind out the rest of my fs boxes, kill mel, do the trails, and get a novice box. The only good thing I see about being able to repsec is that I can go to jedi. Yeah, i know it is a sucky way to get it, but since I have no other choice then it is that or some other profession that I don't want to do. Just something you may want to consider before you go putting down all the ppl that respec to jedi, ask them how far they got in the village (ie how many unlocks and what they were) cause personally I feel like I'm being screwed and not enjoying a second of it, much less wanting to hear that I am gonna be criticized for being a respec jedi.
