Thread: reactivated account thx NGE, some question i have here...

Hi all
after a long 2years membership i decided to stop playing this game, because i wasn't able to handle that mess/bugs/slow fights in stupid CombatUpgrade
when i find out that for me is more fun to read this forum pages instead of playing swg game.. i decided that's end of my jedi carrier and gived my stuffs to friends etc...etc... and promised them that i will one day come back.. when i see that something will change
what i know about NGE is just some basic information what they released etc... but still i have couple question here:
1.
they told that old jedis will recieve elder title & couple vet.reward, & lvl90cap, doeas it mean that i only need padawan first jedi box to have selected and it is ok?
2.
can i use my final respec from full temp jedi into another prof. (so i can recive another prof.badge) and than in NGE go back to lvl80jedi ?
3.
tiggs was talking also about special lightsaber (crystal?hilt?scheme? who know just hope not only crystal) does she mean that a little higher dmg lightsabers are those who will be converted from CU itno NGE or how it is.. if i should craft tons of sabers now or my chances are same in NGE - someone know ? or our advantage of jedi is that we will have better stats sabers when they convert it into nge...
4.
i have just few information about new lvl90 cap. cause some of them are talking that it will be only for jedi or those who unlocked theyr first jedi box and other people are talking about that lvl90 will be everyone... so where is the true ?
if it is Veteran Reward, my brain is talking to me that i will need to spend couple time in this game before i can take it (same like ADK was allowed for you after few months after playing game - will be the elder & new10lvl in this system) or.. how can i .. understand this
if it is free for everyone - why they call it veteran reward, and if it is real veteran reward how many mounths i need to be in game to qualified
5.
those who test NGE - can you tell me if they remowed those silly special effect like blinking glow in your eye when you was blinded or those stupid circles when you was dazed ? or those nasty effects are still in game ? (i want to make some nice screenshot but when i have there those stupid effects i wasn't able to make enought realistic screenshot)
i think that's all for now.. i just hope this NGE will improve this game, and if not.. it will be the big laught at the end
maybe the end of SWG is close and i want to be there - that's why i want to try NGE, lol

I think you should have invested a little more time reading all the negative feedback about NGE before re-activating your account.
To answer your questions from what I have gathered through the forum:
1.

You need to have 1 novice in a Jedi discipline to recieve elder rewards.

If you respec to the point of having no skills in Jedi, then you will not recieve the Elder Rewards. If you respec to a crafting or entertainer profession you will not be able to use that to respec back into Jedi. Respec for combat professions is based on Combat Level.

Most people have been crafting sabers now, as the people from Test Center Corbantis and Ahazi have stated that sabers crafted in NGE are really terrible (converted pre-nge sabers are pretty terrible too compared to what we're used to.). As far as pearls are concerned, so far the conversion has left most pearls, regardless of quality, within a few points of each other. I believe they range from the lowest minimum damage of 3ish to the highest maximum damage of 10 or 12? It's really different than now, and just seems almost silly. We do recieve the option of one of two new crystals that appear similiar in color to existing crystals. Their modifiers are equal to Bane's Heart and Sunrider's Destiny if I recall correctly. As far as the new special elder hilt......... haven't heard anything about it. Not sure it exists.

Lvl 90 is available for all players. It is nota reward to an "end-template" character by any means.

I'm pretty sure those sprites are still in the game.

In conclusion if you hated the first CU because you thought it made Jedi less fun, then you have wasted your money. The NGE has "attempted"(this is questionable) to make the Jedi class EQUAL to all other combat classes, however it instead made them far worse.

lol, thx for your answer eaven when it was a little bit negative about NGE
it doesn't metter for me if it will be good or bad, i will have more fun when i will see that it is more bulksh!tty than this CU because i had my fun with jedi before CU and all nerfs in cu what i found was... just joke for me so i just laught from this game how big ambition it had and how bad it ends
this NGE looks for me like everyother mmorpg now so i want to see it on my own eyes, & test it how can someone make from totaly awesome game make a total crap... (need to see it so i can talk to my children before night a nice story about strong jedi named yashik who survived CU and had a lot of fun from DEV when he saw a new NGE, lol...)
