My template is Mpowers/MDefender 2000 Enhancer and 3000 Healer. I have a real good FWG5 and rarely use a Saber.

I just found out (and retested) that while holding the FWG5 none of my Powers abilities work. I can heal or use Defender and Enhancer skills but the Powers just do not work, No system message (like when wearing armor) or anything. they just do not work.

Several players that looked at the codes said this was coming funny no mention of it coming from the developers they just like doing things with no warning.

Odd.. Well let me change my answer up... You can not use any force powers with a wepon equiped.. But you can write a macro to remove your wepon for 1 sec and then use your power and equip it again from what i have read

Good , working as intended then.

use a macro to switch from unarmed to your fwg5 and back again if your that desparate to use the pistol's mod'd dps of 370 odd.

Yes, Master Wielder was vastly overpowered and dominated all life in the Universe. As such, the ability to achieve devestating DPS from /rangedshot for min damage on a pistol was deemed to unbalanced and nerfed.

The Devs naturally were aware of the Public Relations for this and as such, decided not to tell anyone and hope no-one noticed.

To use Force Powers while wielding anything other than a Saber you need to be a Night Sister, a SMC, a Force Wielder and a host of other toons in game as NPCs or one of the hundreds of toons in the EU. Unfortunately, players cannot play these characters at the moment and have to play the weaker varient.

We can hope the Devs realise their stupidity and revert this issue back to how it was, but in reality they dont give a stuff, especially when the forums are on fire with all the other disasters they have unleashed.

If we are not allowed to use force powers wihout having a saber equiped why is it that I see NPC's using force powers holding a gun?
